II. Regional Office Profile
PDEA-CAR Regional Office is located at Camp Bado Dangwa, La Trinidad, Benguet whose areas of responsibilities covered the six (6) provinces and one (1) city specifically, Abra province, Apayao province, Benguet province, Ifugao province, Kalinga province, Mt. Province area, and Baguio City. There are 76 municipalities and 1,176 barangays being served by the Regional Office.
Further, establishments of PDEA Provincial Offices are still on the process of soliciting the Local Government Units support. At present, there four established Provincial offices in this region: a) Abra Provincial Office, which is located at Camp Juan Villamor, Calaba, Bangued, Abra b) Baguio City Office, which is located at Pinsao, Baguio City; c) Ifugao Provincial Office, which is located within the Municipality of Alfonso Lista, Ifugao ; and d) Kalinga Provincial Office, which is located at Camp Juan M. Duyan, Bulanao, Tabuk City, Kalinga. For Mt. Province, Benguet and Apayao Provincial Offices, they are presently coordinating with the LGU’s and other stakeholders for the provision of the office space. Though Mt. Province Provincial Office has a safe house being rented within Bontoc, Mt. Province.
