Kai Tak Cruise Terminal – Festival Walk Public Transport Interchange) TRAFFIC ADVICE Introduction of CTB Route No. 22 (Kai Tak Cruise Terminal – Festival Walk Public Transport Interchange) Members of the public are advised that CTB route no. 22 will be introduced with effect from 24 June 2018 (Sunday) with service details as follows: (i) Routeing of CTB route no. 22: KAI TAK CRUISE TERMINAL to FESTIVAL WALK PUBLIC TRANSPORT INTERCHANGE via Kai Tak Cruise Teminal Bus Terminus, Shing Fung Road, Shing Cheong Road, Cheung Yip Street, Wang Chiu Road, Shing Kai Road, Concorde Road, Prince Edward Road East, Prince Edward Road West, La Salle Road, Lancashire Road, Waterloo Road, Dorset Crescent, Devon Road, Cornwall Stree t, Tat Chee Avenue and Festival Walk Public Transport Interchange. FESTIVAL WALK PUBLIC TRANSPORT INTERCHANGE to KAI TAK CRUISE TERMINAL via Festival Walk Public Transport Interchange, Tat Chee Avenue, Cornwall Street, Waterloo Road, (Hereford Road, La Salle Road)* , Boundary Street, Prince Edward Road West, Prince Edward Road East, Slip Road, roundabout, Luk Hop Street, Tsat Po Street, Kai Sa n Road, Concorde Road, roundabout, Concorde Road, Shing Kai Road, Muk Hung Street, Muk Chui Street, Wang Chiu Road, Cheung Yip Street, Shing Cheong Road, Shing Fung Road and Kai Tak Cruise Terminal Bus Terminus. SCL, with a total length of 17 kilometres, consists of the following two sections – (a) Tai Wai to Hung Hom Section: this is an extension of the Ma On Shan Line from Tai Wai via Southeast Kowloon to Hung Hom where it will join the West Rail Line; and (b) Hung Hom to Admiralty Section: this is an extension of the East Rail Line from Hung Hom across the Victoria Harbour to Wan Chai North and Admiralty. 3. There are ten stations in SCL. Apart from bringing improvements to the existing Tai Wai Station, the SCL project involves construction of new stations or extension of existing stations at Hin Keng, Diamond Hill, Kai Tak, Sung Wong Toi, To Kwa Wan, Ho Man Tin, Hung Hom, the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, and Admiralty. In preparation for the commissioning of the TML, the Government, the Kowloon-Canton Railway Corporation (“KCRC”) and the MTR Corporation Limited (“MTRCL”) make an arrangement similar to that of the commissioning of the TML1 in February 2020. Prior to the commissioning of the TML, the Government will vest the TML in KCRC which is wholly owned by the Government and then KCRC will grant the right to operate the TML to MTRCL under the service concession approach.
