Canon’s New Flagship EOS-1D X Mark II Full-Frame Digital SLR Camera A Monster with Ultra High Speed Shooting and 4K Video Expanding the Possibility of Professional Photography and Videography
Canon today proudly announces the new flagship EOS-1D X Mark II Full-Frame Digital SLR camera, bringing unrivalled image quality and superior photo and video shooting performance for professional photographers, videographers and advanced amateurs. EOS-1D X Mark II features a new 20.2-megapixel Full Frame Canon CMOS Sensor and Dual “DIGIC 6+” ultra fast image processors that support 14-bit image processing for superb image quality. A wide standard ISO ranging from ISO 100-51200 is provided for greater shooting flexibility under different lighting situations. EOS-1D X Mark II is also equipped with a newly designed high precision 61-point High Density Reticular AF System for quick and precise auto-focusing. All 61 AF points can now support f/8 auto-focusing, further expand the AF application. Coupled with 14FPS High Speed Continuous Shooting, built-in GPS receiver and the highly acclaimed operability and improved reliability inherited from EOS-1D X, EOS- 1D X Mark II marks a new milestone to the professional camera performance and provides the features and capabilities that photographers need to excel in different professional fields including sports, nature, wedding and commercial studios.
Addressing the trend and needs of the industry in video production, Canon incorporates the “Dual Pixel CMOS AF” technology and touch screen LCD monitor in EOS-1D X Mark II, the first Canon Full-Frame Digital SLR camera with these features, providing smooth and accurate movie servo AF. Coupled with the leading 50p/59.94p 4K video shooting and 100p/119.9p High Frame Rate video, EOS-1D X Mark II has brought the best photography and videography experience together in one camera, setting a new standard for the industry.
