Changing the World Spiritually (Karun Jagat Se Nyaar)
|| Changing The World Spiritually (Karun Jagat Se Nyaar) Par Lagan Ko Har Kooi Chahe, Bin Satguru Koi Par Na Pave. The glory of Satguru is such that he brings change. World is following a false Religion-Dharma. Satguru frees you from treachery, fraud, etc. and transforms you from the coveted Minded into a nectarine individual. Earlier it was a reign of Mind. Even after many lives, such a transformation is hard to achieve. Yeh Sab Sahib Tumhi Keena, Barna Main Tha Param Malina. After being Blessed with Satya Naam from Satguru you get the powers of Naam which fights with vices; Lust, Anger, Greed, Hate, and Pride etc. Purity restored. - Satguru Shri Madhu Paramhans Sahib SAHIB BANDGI Sant Ashram Ranjari, Post Raya, Dist-SAMBA, J&K 2 Sahib Bandgi Changing the World Spiritually Sant Satguru Madhu Paramhans Sahib SANT ASHRAM RANJADI (J&K) ALL RIGHT RESERVED FIRST EDITION - June 2014 COPIES - 10000. Global Hand Washing Day 2018 State Report: Uttar Pradesh
Global Hand Washing Day 2018 State Report: Uttar Pradesh Global Hand Washing Day - 15th October 2018 State Report: Uttar Pradesh Global Hand washing Day is on October 15th. The day is marked by worldwide celebrations, events, and advocacy campaigns. This year in 2018, more than 11.6 million people promoted the simple, life- saving act of hand washing with soap on Global Hand washing Day across the state. The day was founded by the Global Hand washing Partnership in 2008 to help communities, advocates, and leaders spread the word about hand washing with soap. This year’s Global Hand washing Day theme, “Clean Hands – a recipe for health,” emphasizes the linkages between hand washing and food. Hand washing is an important part of keeping food safe, preventing diseases, and helping children grow strong. Yet, hand washing is not practiced as consistently or as thoroughly as it should be. Diarrheal disease limits the body’s ability to absorb nutrition from food and is a major cause of death in low resource settings. Hand washing with soap is an effective way to prevent these losses. Global Hand washing Day raises awareness of the importance of hand washing and encourages action to promote and sustain hand washing habits. Organizations and individuals can celebrate Global Hand washing Day by planning an event, participating in a digital campaign, or simply spreading the word about the importance of hand washing. UNICEF Support: Mobilised state and district team in planning & designing of Global Hand wash Day 2018 Facilitated rally, Soap bank and other events related to GHWD at District level. -

God Hanuman, the Dalits and the Tribals Phd Scholar, TATA Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai Abstract God Hanuman Is a Hindu God Who Has Sacred Meaning
Suraj Punj Journal For Multidisciplinary Research ISSN NO: 2394-2886 God Hanuman, the Dalits and the Tribals Phd Scholar, TATA Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai Abstract God Hanuman is a Hindu God who has sacred meaning. This paper documents how the sacred meaning of Hanuman is challenged to give multiple social, political and economic meanings during an election campaign in India. Such meanings are given for utility. Such practice, the paper argues, is in tune with the tenor of our secularized and post-truth era. Keywords: God, Hanuman, Yogi Adityanath, Symbol, Sacred Introduction Gods like Hanuman are symbols in their own right which have a meaning, like sacredness. Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Chief Priest of the Gorakhnath Math Yogi. Adityanath recently said that Hanuman was a Dalit, a member of the ‘lower caste’. A lot of other important commentators also made references to Hanuman’s caste in response to Yogi’s comments. This paper argues that Yogi’s comment and the ensuing commentary indicates that the meaning of Hanuman’s symbol is changing from religious to political, social and economic. This paper attempts a semiotic analysis of this phenomenon. Herein, Hanuman is a signifier which has a signified (meaning, including sacredness). The signifier is acquiring political, social, economic signified. Such change in the meaning of the sacred symbol of Hanuman is a ‘rupture’ in the meaning of symbol, which is not happening just by accident. Such political, social, economic meanings are given according to the utility of the meaning to the person who is giving meanings to a particular symbol. -
HISTORY ANCIENT PERIOD in the Epic Period, the Region Covered By
HISTORY ANCIENT PERIOD In the epic period, the region covered by the present district of Gorakhpur, known as Karapatha, which formed part of the kingdom of Kosala, an important centre of Aryan culture and civilization. The renowned ascetic Gorakh Nath gave name and fame to this district by practicing austerities on the spot where the famous temple named after him stands. It appears that the earliest known monarch ruling over this region with his capital at Ayodhya, was Iksvaku, who founded the solar dynasty of Ksatriyas. It produced a number of illustrious kings till the accession of Ram, who was the greatest ruler of this dynasty. Ram had divided the kingdom, during his lifetime, into small principalities. He coronated his eldest son Kusa as the king of Kusavati present Kushinagar which lay in the Gorakhpur district till 1946. After Ram's renunciation of the world Kusa left Kusawati (Kushinagar) and repaired to Ayodhya. His cousin, Chandraketu, son of Lakshmana, even the epithet of malla (valiant) in the Ramayan, thereupon took possession of this region. The Mahabharata mentions that at the Rajasuya (imperial) sacrifice performed by Yudhisthira, a behest to conquer the east was given to Bhimasena who in turn subjugated the principality of Gopalak (identified with Gopalpur of Bansgaon tahsil). Close to Gopalpur at Bhimtola, Bhimasena is said to have reposed after his victory. The discovery of a series of enormous mounds at Gopalpur and around it suggests that the places has been old sites of extensive cities. A few development in the political history of the district during the post- Mahabharata period is the functioning of a number of republics under the sovereignty of the kingdom of Kosala. -

Yogi Adityanath’s Background and Rise to Power 1 Yogi Adityanath’s Background and Rise to Power Véronique Bouillier 1 Styled “the Hindu Priest” or “the Hindu Monk,” even “the Fanatic Hindu Monk” by the Press, Adityanath, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, is a Yogi, specifically a member of the Shaiva sect of the Nath Yogis.1 The Nath Yogis are characterized by the huge earrings that they wear in the thick of the ear, the cartilage being split in the middle, hence their popular name of Kanphata Yogis or Yogis with split ears. But Adityanath’s golden rings are very discrete. 2 Being mahant, i.e. chief of the monastery (math) of Gorakhpur, Adityanath is both the heir to an ancient ascetic tradition dating at least from late sixteenth century, and the present successor of a movement of secularization which started in the 1930s with the powerful and political mahant Digvijaynath (b.1894, mahant 1935-d.1969).
