AND COMMUNITY FOOD BANK A WORD FROM RAYFIELD WRIGHT… October 14, 2006, I was honored for that day to become Rayfield Wright Day in the City of Willow Park. For several years I had wanted to do something for the city especially to raise funds for the police and fire departments. Both have been so instrumental in the community in help- ing assist and protect individuals and the entire community. I have been so thankful for the assistance in helping me and my family. Today I am so honored to be a part of the Community Food Bank Board of Directors. Sadly, 1 in 4 children go to sleep hungry. These kids wake up hungry and their first meal of the day is at school or day care. We strive to stop hunger! “Let’s help block for and support our 1st Responders and tackle hunger!” As one of the captains for the Dallas Cowboys for 9 of my 13 years, the 2nd Rayfield Wright Celebrity Golf Tournament will be a great opportunity for the community, corporations, and individuals to show their support.
