CHARACTERISATION OF FUNGI OF STORED COMMON BEAN CULTIVARS GROWN IN MENOUA DIVISION, CAMEROON. Abstract Common bean is a legume grown globally especially in developing countries including Cameroon for human consumption. In Cameroon it is grown in a wide variety of agro ecological zones in quantities enough to last through the off growing season after harvest. Stored common bean after harvest in Cameroon are prone to fungal spoilage which contributes to post harvest losses.

E-mail: [email protected] Received: May 20, 2014 Accepted: June 12, 2014 Online Published: June 26, 2014 doi:10.5539/ach.v6n2p242 URL: http://dx.doi.org/10.5539/ach.v6n2p242 Abstract This qualitative investigation aims to identify problems with cultural tourism in nine Thai temples and develop a model for improved tourism management. Data was collected by document research, observation, interview and focus group discussion. Results show that temples suffer from a lack of maintenance, poor service, inadequate tourist facilities, minimal community participation and inefficient public relations. A management model to combat these problems was designed by parties from each temple at a workshop. The model provides an eight-part strategy to increase the tourism potential of temples in Bangkok: temple site, safety, conveniences, attractions, services, public relations, cultural tourism and management. Keywords: management, cultural tourism, temples, Thailand, development 1. Introduction When Chao Phraya Chakri deposed King Taksin of the Thonburi Kingdom in 1982, he relocated the Siamese capital city to Bangkok and revived society under the name of his new Rattanakosin Kingdom (Prathepweti, 1995). Although royal monasteries had been commissioned much earlier in Thai history, there was a particular interest in their restoration during the reign of the Rattanakosin monarchs.

Jendral Sudirman Km. 3,5 No 2837 Palembang, Indonesia 4School of Natural Resources and Environment, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA Received March 2, 2015/Accepted April 28, 2015 Abstract Though some scholars argue that Indonesian wood furniture industries are in decline, these industries remain a driving force for regional and national economies. Indonesian wood furniture has a long value chain, including: forest farmers, log traders, artisans, and furniture outlets. In Jepara, Central Java, wood furniture industries contain significant regional and historical importance. Jeparanese wood furniture industries demonstrated great resilience during the economic crisis in the late nineties. Although they were previously able to withstand the pressures of economic crisis, the enactment of Minister of Forestry Regulation (MoFor Reg.) 7/2009 on wood allocation for local use -as one of the implementing regulation of Decentralization Law 32/2004- causes a potential reduction of wood supply to Jepara. Since September 30th, 2014, however, the constellation of domestic timber politics has changed due to the new decentralization law (23/2014), which shifted most regulations on forest and forest products from the regency to the province.

Kata Kunci: Gua; Ceruk; Karst; Pesisir Barat Aceh; Prasejarah ABSTRACT The evidence of prehistoric life in Aceh has been proven by the results of archeological research conducted by the Archaeology Research Office of North Sumatera.

Policy and Business Overview SISB Public Company Limited (the “Company” or “SISB”) was incorporated on June 26, 2001, with the initial registered capital of THB eight million. The key objective of the Company is not to maximise profit but to promote education development and to raise standards of education in Thailand to meet international standards. The school was established based on the vision of Thai and Singaporean parents of international students who recognise the importance of education that is based on outstanding Mathematics and Science curricula in the English and Chinese learning environment. The Company established Singapore International School of Bangkok to meet the growing demand of both Thai and international families for an international curriculum based on socio-cultural diversity. Licensed as formal education by the Office of the Private Education Commission (the “OPEC”) on August 24, 2001, the school is the first in Thailand to adopt the Singapore curriculum.
