Curacao U-15 outed in CONCACAF U-15 Championship 2017 The Curacao U-15 had a though time in the CONCACAF U-15 Tournament in Mi- ami. Curacao plays in the Second Division of this competition in which 39 teams par- ticipated in three divisions. In Division 2, the 15 teams are divided into three groups of four and one group of three. After losing their first match against the Dominican Republic, the team also lost against Haiti (0-6) and Nicaragua (0-1) and as a result ended at the fourth place in their group. However, Curacao won their final round classification match against Martinique with a score of 3-0.

    FFK Newsletter - FFK ta Informá December 2016, Volume 2, Issue 4 On the rise The Curacao Football Federation, the players, the staff, all our loyal supporters, we are very, very happy with our national selection qualifying for the CONCACAF Gold Cup 2017 and the Final Round of the Caribbean Cup. As a result, Curacao now reached the 75h place in the FIFA Coca Cola ranking . For our small island this is a very important achieve- ment. It is the result of the steady implementation of our Long Term Development Plans. And of course it is not just the results of the senior selection that we care about - we also care about our youth. We were the proud host of the U-20 Caribbean Qualifiers, and though our U-20 did not qualify, it was a joy to have the talented U-20 teams over. Our U -17 did qualify for the CONCACAF Championship 2017 and our U-15 girls did great in Or- lando. Even greater though is that through our Grassroots and Youth Development ef- forts, more and more youngsters, boys and girls, get the chance to enjoy football. At schools, with the clubs and in the neighborhood. And exactly that is why we do what we do.     Jaarverslag 2017-2018 v.v. IJsselmeervogels Jaarverslag 2017-2018 Inleiding: In dit jaarverslag zijn de meest opvallende nieuwsfeiten en een opsomming van diverse in het oog springende prestaties van het afgelopen seizoen samengevat. Daarmee is seizoen 2017-2018 historisch in kaart gebracht. Een jaargang waarin weer vele hoogtepunten, maar helaas ook de nodige dieptepunten te betreuren waren. We denken daarbij vooral aan leden die ons deze jaargang ontvielen. Op dat soort momenten is voetbal maar bijzaak. Een besef dat gelukkig breed gedragen wordt binnen onze vereniging. In opdracht van het hoofdbestuur heeft clubarchivaris Tijmen de Graaf alle feiten en cijfers weer op een rijtje gezet. Tot slot is er een overzicht van de overleden leden die ons deze jaargang ontvielen. Het eerste elftal: Als debutant in de Tweede Divisie was handhaving de doelstelling die vooraf aan het seizoen werd uitgesproken. Aan deze doelstelling werd, met een 9e plaats in de eindstand, keurig voldaan. Onder leiding van trainer Willem Leushuis, die een week na de competitieaanvang de naar De Graafschap vertrokken Sandor van der Heide opvolgde, opende IJsselmeervogels sterk en was na vier duels koploper. Daarna volgde een zwakke periode die nauwelijks punten opleverden en moest het vlaggenschip zelfs even naar beneden kijken. Gelukkig volgde er herstel en werden de punten weer gepakt. Een hoge klassering was echter niet meer mogelijk waardoor het seizoen in de grote grijze middenmoot werd afgesloten. Het 2e elftal Onder leiding van trainer Norbert Koelewijn en elftalleider Ronald Koelewijn zette het 2e elftal een fantastische prestatie neer door ongeslagen kampioen te worden en daardoor te promoveren naar de reserve hoofdklasse.
