Players Returning Clemson will likely be the highest ranked team the Eagles have played since joining the FBS and the Tigers will have three quarterbacks to keep an eye on this upcoming season. Kelly Bryant returns for his senior year after replacing Deshaun Watson in 2017, settling into the starting job and led Clemson to the College Football Playoff with 2,802 passing yards, 665 rushing yards and 24 total touchdowns. True freshman Trevor Lawrence enters his first season with the Tigers, being the top-ranked player in the 2018 class and deemed most impressive during the Tiger's spring game. That gives Clemson one of the most intriguing quarterback battles heading into the spring again, especially with former five-star recruit Hunter Johnson also in the mix. Defensive tackles Christian Wilkins, Austin Bryant and Clelin Ferrell all decided to stay in school to join Dexter Lawrence for one more season. Clemson has a starting front four that produced 25 sacks and 45 tackles for loss in the 2017 season.
