Kirwan, Al Kasahara "The Yankee Doodle Boy", also well known as "(I'm a) Yankee Doodle Dandy" is a patriotic song September 6th RCNT Weekly from the Broadway musical Little Johnny Jones written by George M. Cohan. The play concerns the Meeting - Speaker trials and tribulations of a fictional American jockey, Johnny Jones (based on the real life jockey Tod Chris Wirt Sloan), who rides a horse named Yankee Doodle in the English Derby. Cohan incorporates snippets of September 10th several popular traditional American songs into his lyrics of this song, as he often did with his songs. September 13th President's Message - Preparations for our Weekly Meeting Greeters: Al Allen, Brad Purazzo As we enter our meeting every Friday morning, the room seems to scream �Welcome to Rotary!� September 13th There are beautiful Rotary flags on every table; there are large banners displayed around the room; the RCNT Weekly Meeting - Speaker Rotary Bell is in place on the podium; the United States Flag is waiting for our pledge of allegiance; there Ann Wade are slides rotating on the screen reminding us of the many good things we do in our club and community, September 20th and the projector and microphone are in readiness for our speaker. At the door we are welcomed by Greeters: Ginger Le, Paul Suppicich Rotarian greeters arranged by Al Kasahara and Al Allen, and Jason Contino has the sign-in table set up September 20th and ready for checking in members. Our club members are ready to have an organized, welcoming, RCNT Weekly Meeting exciting meeting! September 27th Greeters: Cam All of this preparation is done by some very dynamic folks who are doing service above self by being at Caudle, Mark Carlson the meeting VERY early in the morning to set up the room. Some of the members who do this weekly September 27th preparation for the rest of us every Friday are Bob Jerome, Al Kasahara, Paul Suppicich, Matt Palmer, RCNT Weekly Debbie Amon, and Bob Thompson. We rarely see them at work�they are like worker bees scurrying Meeting - Danny Burgess around in the dark and are anonymous when the rest of us arrive. His Dennis Loomis company humanely removes any animal with four legs or less, from September snakes to armadillos. He is locally famous for being tagged and 20th answering the millions of "What kind of snake is this?" posts on Facebook. David Graff Amon October 3rd I moved to Florida a little over 5 years ago from Northern Kentucky. After spending the majority of my professional life in Chicago and Cincinnati, I decided to move to Wedding paradise and open my office in Tampa Palms. I have 2 sons, Noah and Sammy Anniversaries who are both still in grade school. Weeknights and weekends are often spent coaching and volunteering with all of the sports they play - Karate, baseball, flag Mark Carlson football, soccer, and basketball. Professionally, I am a financial advisor with September Edward Jones. Simply put, I help families, organizations and businesses manage 28th their financial planning and investments. I have been very fortunate to have met so many great people through the North Tampa Bay Chamber and other networking Club Leaders groups. This has lead me right to Rotary, which I see as a great way to help the community that has supported me. Ann C. Wade President Jay Ellison Jay Ellison is the principal agent of Echo Benefit Solutions and a native of Tampa, FL. He served in the Walter Oles US Army for 23 years, and an enlisted combat medic and later as a combat engineer officer, retiring with Jr President- combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. His Army career consisted of assignments to Korea, Germany, Elect Bosnia, North Africa, West Point Assistant Professor and Operations Officer at US Central Command at Jason M Contino MacDill AFB. His service was highlighted with a Bronze Star medal for combat leadership, Combat Secretary Action Badge, Army Parachute Badge and two bad knees to prove it all. Retirement from the Army brought a dramatic change of career from blowing things up to health and life Lesley S. insurance. A big reason for this is family: Jay has a blended family of 6 kids (and the dog) and the Zajac business is built around them. Membership Chair Dave Schiedecker, of the Seminole Tribal Historic Office in Big Cypress, will be presenting the story of the Seminole experience on Egmont Key. We will have an Brian exhibit from the USF 3D Lab on the scanning project they did of the lighthouse Levinson Club and Battery Mellon a few months ago.
