REBECCA ROMIJN AND JERRY O’CONNELL STAR IN HALLMARK HALL OF FAME FILM, ‘LOVE LOCKS,’ A CROWN MEDIA PRODUCTIONS ORIGINAL PREMIERING EXCLUSIVELY ON HALLMARK CHANNEL, JANUARY 28 Life is the Art of Drawing Without An Eraser STUDIO CITY, CA – Hallmark Channel announces the newest original film in the revered Hallmark Hall of Fame franchise, “Love Locks,” starring Rebecca Romijn (“The Librarians,” “Skin Wars”) and Jerry O’Connell (“Scream Queens,” “Mistresses”) is set to premiere exclusively on Hallmark Channel, Saturday, January 28 (9 p.m. ET/PT) as part of the network’s highly-rated COUNTDOWN TO VALENTINE’S programming event. Crown Media Productions shot "Love Locks" on location in Paris, France, and Montreal, Quebec, Canada. In “Love Locks,” Lindsay Phillips (Romijn) and her teenaged daughter Alexa travel to Paris so the girl can enroll in art school with the same teacher Lindsay had as a young woman. Lindsay is a gifted painter, however, after a broken promise with a boyfriend, she ends up back in New York, not as an artist, but as the editor of an art magazine. Lindsay cannot imagine that her journey to Paris with her daughter will result in an unplanned encounter with her former boyfriend, Jack Burrows (O’Connell), a hotelier, or that the pair will reignite their passionate love affair. “ 'Love Locks' is a film about love that won't let go no matter how much time has passed, and it will be a great addition to the revered Hallmark Hall of Fame franchise," said Michelle Vicary, Executive Vice President, Programming and Publicity, Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. "Rebecca Romijn and Jerry O'Connell starring in a beautifully written love story set against the backdrop of the world's most romantic city sounds like a picture perfect recipe for great movie-making," Vicary concluded. The custom of attaching padlocks onto famous bridges began around 2008 and is traced to Italian author Frederico Moccia's novel, I Want You, which features couples writing their names on padlocks and attaching those to Rome’s Milvian bridge and then throwing the key into the river as a sign of eternal love. While the phenomenon originated in Italy, the Pont Des Arts bridge in Paris became the defacto worldwide landmark for millions of lovers yearning to display eternal love. Here where the bridge connects the Left Bank and the Right Bank over the river Seine, couples have placed multiple millions of pounds of love locks, enough to cause damage to the structure which dates back to the time of Napoleon. The City of Paris, while reclaiming the integrity of its bridges, has gone to great lengths not to destroy the locks, but to repurpose them into one-of-kind metal sculptures along the passerelles and river. "Love Locks" is directed by Martin Wood from an original screenplay written by Teena Booth, with revisions from John Tinker, and Tippi & Neal Dobrofsky. Executive Producer is Jim Head, John Tinker and Joel S. Rice. Producer is Gilles Perreault. Alternative Portrayals of Anorexia Nervosa and Its Symptoms on Pro

Alternative portrayals of anorexia nervosa and its symptoms on pro-anorexic websites: a thematic analysis of website contents A research report submitted in fulfilment of the requirement for the degree MA by coursework and research report in the field of Clinical Psychology In the faculty of humanities at the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg, 21 November 2008 By: Lisa Nicole Cardoso Da Rocha Supervisor: Dr. Carol Long WORD COUNT: 25 828 1 Abstract The internet has become an invaluable source of medical information in the twenty first century. How some individuals have come to use this medium has created a stir among parents and the mental health community. One such use has been the promotion of anorexia nervosa as a healthy lifestyle choice on Pro-Anorexia (Ana) websites. These have become controversial spaces due to their presumed influence on both the initiation and maintenance of anorexia nervosa. Despite growing concern regarding the contents of Pro-Ana websites, limited research has been conducted in this area resulting in a lack of awareness of the role, contents and unique perspective contained on these sites. Therefore the purpose of this qualitative study was to explore how anorexia nervosa is alternatively portrayed on Pro-Ana websites and how this portrayal either maintains or challenges eating disordered symptomology. Thematic content analysis of the text contained on two of the most popular Pro-Ana websites yielded five major themes: perfection and control, pain and suffering, secrecy, exclusion and medical and psychological knowledge. The results suggested that there is a large discrepancy between the portrayal of anorexia nervosa on Pro-Ana websites as a healthy lifestyle choice and the current clinical perspective which views anorexia as a dangerous and fatal illness.

It seemed more like two months. At times, even two weeks. Why? Because even though I have worked in TV for more than three decades, I have never seen our industry undergo such extraordinary — and extraordinarily exciting — changes as it has in recent years. Everywhere you turn, the vanguard is disrupting the old guard with an astonishing new technology, an amazing new show, an inspired new way to structure a business deal. This is not to imply that the more established segments of our industry have been pushed aside. On the contrary, the broadcast and cable networks continue to produce terrific work that is heralded by critics and rewarded each year at the Emmys. And broadcast networks still command the largest viewing audience across all of their platforms. With our medium thriving as never before, this is a great time to work in television, and a great time to be part of the Television Academy. Consider the 65th Emmy Awards. The CBS telecast, hosted by the always-entertaining Neil Patrick Harris, drew our largest audience since 2005.

Why Marvel Should Replace Halle Berry with Beyonce As Storm

Entertainment: Why Marvel Should Replace Halle Berry With Beyonce As Storm Author : Robert D. Cobb With a recent report from ComicBook.com—via the Daily Star—about Marvel reaching out to Beyonce about a possible role in Marvel’s up-coming Phase III slate of movies, I feel that she would be the perfect replacement of long-time X-Men actress Halle Berry as Storm. While some may think it may seem unfeasible that Marvel would even consider severing ties with the Academy Award-winning actress, with rumors per DishNation.com of Berry being “shocked and hurt” that he screen time was serious cut in the recent “X-Men: Days Of Futures Past”, and Marvel may in fact consider going in a different direction entirely. Enter Beyonce. This wouldn’t be the first time that Marvel has re-cast a veteran actress, as they recast Jennifer Lawrence for the role of Mystique, that was previously held by Rebecca Romijn. Obviously, this was due in part to the X- Men reboot and the need for younger characters for the sake of continuity, but if Marvel were to re-cast and replace Berry with Beyonce, it would not be unprecedented. With the recent Chadwick Boseman-‘Black Panther’ movie set to be one of the major tentpoles in Marvel’s Phase III due to open in 2017, the need for a younger Storm—as she and T’Challa do eventually marry—then, if I were a betting man, that would be the role that Marvel is likely going to approach the former Destiny’s Child singer about.
