Brisbane’s green spaces are an important part of our identity and play a significant role in making Brisbane City one of the best places to live, work and play. Recognised as Queensland’s premier subtropical botanic gardens, and spanning over 56 hectares, Brisbane Botanic Gardens Mt Coot-tha offers unique lifestyle opportunities for residents and visitors. Visitor numbers to the Gardens are anticipated to increase from 700,000 to more than 1.7 million visitors per year in the next 15 years and this draft master plan focuses on the key opportunities and future direction for the Gardens during this time.
