David Waters has performed on film, television and in plays and musicals with most of the major theatre companies of Australia including
The Sydney Theatre Company, The Australian Elizabethan Theatre Trust, The Queensland Theatre Company, J.C. Williamson’s Melbourne and Sydney, The Tasmanian Theatre Company, The Twelfth Night Theatre Company, The Marian Street Theatre Company, The MusicHall-Neutral Bay, Sydney and La Boîte Theatre, Brisbane
He has appeared on stage in the UK in the role of Geoffrey in the West End production of Stepping Out for the Bill Kenwright Organisation and at The Theatre Royal,Windsor as well as a national tour of the UK.He performed in the leading role of Bill Snibson in the Cockney musical Me and My Girl directed by Steven Fry and Mike Ockrent at Her Majesty's Theatre, Sydney and at the Arts Centre Melbourne. He was the host of the long running international children’s quiz program, Match Mates, for the Nine Network,Australia.
He recently completed filming the 2018 children’s fantasy short film The Grand Palaver for M Square Productions in the leading role of Henry Ganthrope as well leading roles in the short films On The Crescent (2017) and Star Crossed(2017)
He has fronted several major national advertising campaigns for
Norman Ross, Waltons, David Jones, Anglicare, NRMA and MG cars.
