The Summary of the Law
Pastor: Jesus said, “The first commandment is this: Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is the only Lord. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength. The second is this: Love your neighbor as yourself. There is no other commandment greater than these.” (Mark 12:29-31)
The Prayer of the Day
Pastor: The Lord be with you. People: And also with you.
O merciful Lord, grant to your faithful people pardon and peace, that we may be cleansed from all our sins and serve you with a quiet mind; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.

The Apostles Creed
Pastor: Let us confess our faith in the words of the Apostles Creed:
I believe in God, the Father almighty, creator of heaven and earth.
I believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended to the dead. On the third day he rose again. He ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will come again to judge the living and the dead.
I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy catholic Church, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting. Amen.
Prayer and Praise for God’s Church and the World
Leader: Living God, deliver us from a world without justice and a future without mercy; in your mercy, establish justice, and in your justice, remember the mercy revealed to us in Jesus Christ our Lord. People: Lord, in your mercy hear our prayer.
Leader: Father, we pray for your holy catholic Church; People: That we all may be one.
Leader: Grant that every member of the Church may truly and humbly serve you; People: That your Name may be glorified by all people.
Leader: For Ken, our bishop, Foley, our Archbishop, and Xavier, pastor of our sister parish in Rwanda; for Matt, our senior pastor, and for Holy Trinity Anglican Church; for Pastor Shane Carr and the congregation at Anglican Church of the Resurrection in Casper, Wyoming, and for all clergy and people, let us pray to the Lord.
5 People: That they may be faithful ministers of your Word and Sacraments.
Leader: We pray for all who govern and hold authority in the nations of the world, especially Donald Trump, our president; People: That there may be justice and peace on the earth.
Leader: Give us grace to do your will in all that we undertake; People: That our works may find favor in your sight.
Leader: Have compassion on those who suffer from any grief or trouble; People: That they may be delivered from their distress.
Leader: Give to the departed eternal rest. People: Let light perpetual shine upon them.
Leader: We praise you for your saints who have entered into joy; People: May we also come to share in your heavenly kingdom.

O Lord our God, you know us better than we know ourselves. As we come before you now, believers and doubters alike, we all share a deep need, for we are all lost without your grace. Search us, O God, and know our hearts; test us and know our troubled thoughts. Give us true repentance. Forgive us all our wrongs. Transform us by your Spirit to live for you each day, to learn to serve each other and, through the grace of Jesus Christ our Lord, to come at last to heaven. Amen.
Pastor: May the Father forgive you by the death of his Son, and strengthen you to live in the power of the Spirit all your days. Amen.

The Great Thanksgiving
Pastor: The Lord is here. People: His Spirit is with us.
Pastor: Lift up your hearts. People: We lift them to the Lord.
Pastor: Let us give thanks to the Lord our God. People: It is right to give Him thanks and praise.
Pastor: It is indeed right, it is our duty and our joy, at all times and in all places to give you thanks and praise, holy Father, heavenly King, almighty and eternal God, through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord. And now we give you thanks because, for our salvation, he was obedient even to death on the cross. The tree of shame was made the tree of glory; and where life was lost, there life has been restored.
8 Therefore with angels and archangels, and with all the company of heaven, we proclaim your great and glorious name, for ever praising you and saying:

Accept our praises, heavenly Father, through your Son our Savior Jesus Christ, and as we follow his example and obey his command grant that by the power of your Holy Spirit these gifts of bread and wine may be to us his body and his blood; who, in the same night that he was betrayed, took bread and gave you thanks; he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying: Take, eat; this is my body which is given for you; do this in remembrance of me.
In the same way, after supper he took the cup and gave you thanks; he gave it to them, saying: Drink this, all of you; this is my blood of the new covenant, which is shed for you and for many for the forgiveness of sins. Do this, as often as you drink it, in remembrance of me.
Therefore, heavenly Father, we remember his offering of himself made once for all upon the cross; we proclaim his mighty resurrection and glorious ascension; we look for the coming of your kingdom, and with this bread and this cup we make the memorial of Christ your Son our Lord.

Pastor: Accept through Him, our great high priest, this our sacrifice of thanks and praise. Sanctify us that we may faithfully receive this holy Sacrament, and as we eat and drink these holy gifts in the presence of your divine majesty, renew us by your Spirit, inspire us with your love and unite us in the body of your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.

The Lord’s Prayer
Pastor: And now as our Savior Christ has taught us, we are bold to pray:
Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name. Thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, forever and ever. Amen.
The Breaking of the Bread

The Gifts of God
The gifts of God for the people of God. Take them in remembrance that Christ died for you and feed on him in your hearts by faith, with thanksgiving.

Almighty God, we thank you for feeding us with the body and blood of your Son Jesus Christ. Through him we offer you our souls and bodies to be a living sacrifice. Send us out, in the power of your Spirit, to live and work to your praise and glory. Amen.
