I love the slowly developing story about our food family, that's what I've decided to call them at least. It's cute and sweet; a great book for sitting down after work and just relaxing. It's also great that every chapter ends with a recipe of whatever they just made, or Sweetness and Lightning 3: 3 least one of the items. Very cute and wonderful! Recommend to anyone who loves cooking manga or just loves cute manga. Even though I am not sure where this is leading to for a conclusion to the series, it is a pretty good series. There don't really seem to be too many problems or plot twists, it's just an enjoyable story about a teacher, his daughter, and a student of his learning to cook. It's cute though. I enjoy it and am looking forward to the next volume. Teachers are good at painting lines?? The family quail eggs omg my heart. I am enamored with this manga series! I love the characters so much. I love the direction this story is going and I'm loving getting to watch Tsumugi grow up and have a big personality in these later volumes. I love the art style as well as the little recipes they have at the end of each chapter. Enjoy the series, but it's starting to become a tad repetitive. Enjoyable and lovely. Plus, recipes! Good volume. Tsumugu's expressions are just too wonderful. They make me laugh out loud and forget all my worries. I like the manga enough to keep reading it but not enough to keep buying it.
