Youmacon started as a small convention, just outside of . Twelve years later, Youmacon has become one of the biggest conventions in the Midwest. With over 19,000 attendees last year, everyone on staff and especially myself are aware of how much we are still growing as a convention. However, we’ve only grown this much because of the dedication from the people who make all of this worth it, you, the fans. You are our lifeblood. You make every effort of time, sweat and tears worth it to make this convention a success. The heads of departments and their support staff are all fans who want to help you have a good time. We all love coming in and seeing all the different plans coming together to make a fun and exciting event for everyone to experience.

Of course, we couldn’t do any of this without a place to gather.
