Welcome to City Council Monday, July 23, 2018 Today's Agenda This is the first day of this meeting. At 2 p.m. this afternoon, the meeting will resume with procedural business lasting 30 minutes or more. There are 402 items on this agenda. The Speaker will lead Council in a review of the agenda to decide which items will be held for debate. All other items will be adopted "on consent" (i.e., without debate). The Mayor has designated Item EX36.27 on "Creating 606 Affordable and CITY-OF-TORONTO 422 Mid-Range Rental Homes in Toronto - Results of the 2018 Open Door Call for Applications" as his first Key Matter to be considered as the first item of business this afternoon. The Mayor has designated Item CC44.14 on "Immediate Steps to Address Gun Violence" as his second Key Matter to be considered as first item of business tomorrow. This meeting is scheduled for up to three days. City Council will recess between 6:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. If not complete, the meeting will recess at 8:00 p.m. unless City Council decides otherwise.
