Renee Zellweger debuted bangs and a loose top- knot hairstyle at Paris Fashion Week on March 11. Zellweger, who recently fueled plastic surgery speculation, looked more like her old self sporting minimal makeup and a casual bun.

In October, Renee denies rampant rumors she got plastic surgery, contradicting plastic assessments she got a facelift, brow lift and eyelid surgery. Zellweger, 45, said her dramatically changed appearance was simply due to her being happier and healthier.

"I'm glad folks think I look different!" Renee told People. "I'm living a different, happy, more fulfilling life, and I'm thrilled that perhaps it shows. My friends say I look peaceful. I am healthy."

Zellweger set off plastic surgery speculation after showing off a wrinkle-free, smooth at Elle magazine's annual Women in Hollywood Celebration in Beverly Hills, California. Renee called the plastic surgery rumors "silly," saying she used to look haggard before because of her hectic, stressful lifestyle.

Zellweger said her peaceful life these days with boyfriend Doyle Bramhall has made her look and feel younger. "People don't know me [as] healthy for a while," she said. "Perhaps I look different. But I am different. I'm happy."

Plastic : Renee Got Facelift and Eyelid Surgery

Meanwhile, plastic surgery experts insist Zellweger did get surgery based on her dramatic before and after photos. Dr. Janet Prystowsky told StyleList it appears Renee had a facelift, eyelid surgery and fillers injected into her cheeks, to render them wrinkle-free.

"It looks to me as though Renee had a brow lift, eyelid lift and a facelift," said Dr. Prystowsky. "The brow lift has raised her forehead too high and it looks like she may have even had hair transplants to bring her hairline down again because of the appearance of hairs at the hairline.

Dr. Lyle Back agreed. "She had an excellent facelift which has made her face much less puffy, rectangular and masculine-appearing," said Dr. Back. "I think she actually looks much nicer now. She has also had her eyes nicely done, losing the heavy, tired look around her eyes." Celebrities getting plastic surgery is nothing new, but actresses such as Frances McDormand have slammed Hollywood's plastic surgery and youth obsession, calling it neurotic and self-destructive. McDormand, 57 said she has not had any plastic surgery and is furious with friends who have caved in to pressure to get surgery to look young.

"I have not mutated myself in any way,” McDormand said. “[My husband, director Joel Coen] literally has to stop me physically from saying something to people — to friends who’ve had work. I’m so full of fear and rage about what they’ve done.”
