Game to be printed Who am I? Find the mystery artist.

Version She-Bam Pow POP Wizz ! Les Amazones du POP.

The exhibition She-Bam Pow POP Wizz ! Les Amazones du POP, taking place from October 3rd 2020 to March 28th 2021 presents a generation of female artists who contributed to the history of Pop Art. Full of humor, they criticize the consumer society of the 1960's. But most importantly, they fight against sexism by condemning the "Male Gaze" and align themselves with the pacific Hippie movement through their opposition to war. Will you manage to recognize these artists?

Tools:

- The PDF Who am I? She-Bam Pow POP Wizz ! Les Amazones du POP provided by the MAMAC (to print) - cardboard or Canson paper - scissors or cutter - a ruler - glue

Setting up the game:

- Once the PDF is printed (you will need two copies), glue the game boards on some cardboard (or Canson paper) - With a ruler and scissors (or cutter), cut the two sides and the top of the artists sections (do not cut the bottom) - Fold forward, then backward each bottom line of the artists sections in order to make them stand vertically

Rules of the game:

- The two players choose and memorize one artist that the other will need to guess. One after the other, the players will ask themselves questions. They can answer only by saying YES or NO.

For example: Is your artist a painter? or Does your artist wear glasses?

- If the answer is YES, fold down the pictures of the artists that are not painters or that do not wear glasses. - If the answer is NO, fold down the pictures of the artists that are painters or that wear glasses.

Play like this until you think you know which artist the other player chose. If the paper is too rigid and does not fold down properly, you can always put some rocks on it, or, even better, some candies! The winner is the one who discovers first the mystery artist of the other player.

Time to play!
