NO. 100-673 NOTIfICATION ON R~fORMATTING Of BOOKLET ~ABEL Enclosed is a Notification for lhe subject highlighted product regarding the reformatting of the 2 1/2 gallon label. The reformatted label will become the official label and will bE used to comply with the Worker Protection Standard. This label also complies with PR Notice 93-3 regarding wetlands. The reformatting involves the following changes: 1. A Table of contents has been added to the label. 2. The point size for the text has been increased from 6 pt. to 8 pt. 3. Chart 1 has been added which lays out all the tank mixtures for corn and the additional weeds controlled by each. This is not new informatIon, just a differ,nt and additional way of presenting the text information which follows for each possible tank mixture. Chart 1 will allow the end user to quickly identify those tank mixtures which apply to his/her weed problems. Please note that where page numbers are referred to in the labeling provided. they will be filled in when the actual package mechanical is constructed. Until such time. it is unknown exactly how the information will fit the pages. 4 . It W,1S frlt this would help-fhc"--e"nd user by only having information up front in the label which would apply to all users. We hope these two changes coupled with the others mentioned above will have end users feEling the same way. As required for a Notification, enclosed is one copy of the old label and one copy of th~ new label with the areas highlighted whi~h have been changed, as well as ~ Application for Amended Registration - EPA Form 8570-1. please note the reformatted label corresponds to the latest EPA accepted label dated February 3, 1993.
