News The first Cumbria Social 7’s for Male & Female players was held at Millom Cumbria Social 7’s a huge success! RUFC in mid-June. The event was blessed with great weather which Cumbrian Clubs Embrace Rugbyforce added to an excellent experience for all. On the pitch the 4 male and 5 female teams battled it out playing some excellent rugby, with Millom 1 Primary Schools in Regional Tag Finals and Kendal taking the male and female titles respectively. Off the pitch Lakes College Student Touch Festival the social element was in full flow all weekend, a very successful beer festival, entertainment from the ‘Holborn Hillbillies’, Fancy Dress and Live Carlisle RFC Complete Touch Prog. Sport from the National Teams. Thanks to all at Millom RUFC for the outstanding effort , making the weekend a huge success for all involved.
