We are proud to have signed a sponsorship agreement on July 1 with Wataru Endo, who captained the Japanese football team at the 2016 Rio Olympic Games.

Wataru Endo

Joined Youth when enrolling in Kanagawa Prefectural Kanai High School.

Selected to play on the youth football team during his second year of secondary school and helped lead them to victory as captain in the 64th National Sports Festival of Japan. March 2010: Registered as a Class 2 (youth) player in Shonan Bellmare. Later made his J-League debut in September.

2011: Promoted to Shonan Bellmare's first team.

2012: At 19 years of age, served as captain on a per-game basis, and helped lead the team to promotion to the .

2015: Selected for the first time as a member of the Japanese national team in the 2015 EAFF East Asian Cup and stepped onto the pitch in a game against North Korea.

2016: Transferred to . Participated in the Rio de Janeiro Olympic Games as captain of the Japanese team.

2017: Led Urawa Red Diamonds to victory in the AFC Champions League.

June 2018: Selected for Japan's team in the FIFA World Cup in Russia, marking his first inclusion on a World Cup team.

July 2018: Joined Sint-Truidense V.V. in Belgium.

September 2018: Called to represent Japan on a team managed by .
