William Guy Carr, Pawns in the Game (1958) About the Author Pawns in the Game At the early age of twelve the author was thoroughly Introduction indoctrinated into the Bolshevik Chapter 1 English Revolution ideology by two revolutionary French Revolution missionaries who travelled on the Napoleon same ship with him out to the American Revolution Orient in 1907. Unlike many Monetary Manipulation others he didn’t swallow the bait Russian Revolution they offered him ‘Hook, Line, Political Intrigue and Sinker’. He decided to keep Versailles an open mind, and to investigate Stalin matters thoroughly, before Spanish Revolution reaching any conclusions. His World War Two investigations and studies of all Present Dangers angles of the International Conspiracy have taken him to nearly every country in the world. Commander Carr has had a distinguished naval career. During World War One he served as Navigating Officer of H.M. Submarines. In World War Two he was Naval Control Officer for the St. Lawrence; then Staff Officer Operations at Shelbourne, N. S.; then Senior Naval Officer at Goose Bay, Labrador. As an Officer on the staff of Commodore Reginald Brock he organized the 7th Victory Loan for the twenty-two Royal Canadian Naval Training Divisions. As an author he has previously published the seven books listed above. Some were specially bound for inclusion in The Royal Library; The Library of The Imperial War Museum; and the Sir Millington Drake Library (which is bequeathed to Eton College), and the Braille Library for the Blind. It was 1950 before I penetrated the secret that the wars and revolutions which scourge our lives, and the chaotic conditions that prevail, are nothing more or less than the effects of the continuing Luciferian conspiracy. It started in that part of the universe we call heaven when Lucifer challenged The Right of God to exercise supreme authority. The Holy Scriptures tell us how the Luciferian conspiracy was transferred to this world in the Garden of Eden. Until I realized that our struggle is not with flesh and blood, but with the spiritual forces of darkness who control all those in high places on this earth (Eph. 6:12) the pieces of evidence gathered all over this world just didn’t fit together and make sense. (I am not ashamed to admit that the “Bible” provided the “Key” which enabled me to obtain an answer to the question quoted above.) Very few people seem able to appreciate that Lucifer is the brightest and most intelligent of the heavenly host and, because he is a pure spirit, he is indestructible. The scriptures tell us his power is such that he caused one-third of the most intelligent of the heavenly host to defect from God, and join him, because he claimed God’s Plan for the rule of the universe is weak and impractical because it is based on the premise that lesser beings can be taught to know, love, and wish to serve him voluntarily out of respect for his own infinite perfections. The Luciferian ideology states might is right. It claims beings of proven superior intelligence have the right to rule those less gifted because the masses don’t know what is best for them. It relates how the synagogue of Satan was established on this earth, it tells how it has worked since to prevent God’s Plan for the rule of the universe being established on this earth. Christ came to earth when the conspiracy reached the stage that, to use his own words, Satan controlled all those in high places. He exposed the synagogue of Satan (Rev. 2:9; 3:9;) he denounced those who belonged to it as sons of the devil (Lucifer), whom he castigated as the father of lies (John 8:44) and the prince of deceit (2 Cor. 11:14). He was specific in his statement that those who comprised the synagogue of Satan were those who called themselves Jews, but were not, and did lie (Rev. 2:9; 3:9). He identified the Money- Changers (Bankers) the Scribes, and the Pharisees as the Illuminati of his day. What so many people seem to forget, is the fact that Christ came on earth to release us from the bonds of Satan with which we were being bound tighter and tighter as the years rolled by. Christ gave us the solution to our problem when he told us we must go forth and teach the truth, regarding this conspiracy (John 8. 31:59;), to all people of all nations. He promised that if we did this, knowledge of the truth would set us free (Matt. 28:19;). The Luciferian Conspiracy has developed until it is in its semi-final stage (Matt. 24: 15:34;), simply because we have failed to put the mandate Christ gave us into effect. In 1784 “An Act of God” placed the Bavarian government in possession of evidence which proved the existence of the continuing Luciferian Conspiracy. Adam Weishaupt, a jesuit- trained professor of canon law, defected from christianity, and embraced the Luciferian ideology while teaching in Ingoldstadt University. In 1770 the money lenders (who had recently organized the House of Rothschild), retained him to revise and modernize the age-old ‘protocols’ designed to give the Synagogue of Satan ultimate world domination so they can impose the Luciferian ideology upon what remains of the Human Race, after the final social cataclysm, by use of satanic despotism.

From the Greek, "pente", meaning five and "gramma", a letter; the pentagram is a five pointed figure formed by producing the sides of a pentagon both ways to their point of intersection, so as to form a five-pointed star. It has no specifically satanic origin or meaning and no connection to Freemasonry per se . Freemasonry has traditionally been associated with Pythagoras, and among Pythagoreans, the pentagram was a symbol of health and knowledge; the pentagram is consequently associated with initiation, as it is in masonic iconography. The pentagram (also called pentacle, pentalpha, pentacle, pentagle, or pentangle) is thought by some occultists to trace its esoteric significance to an astronomical observance of the pattern of Venus ' conjunctions with the Sun and has had many meanings in many cultures through the ages. It is only from the fact that it forms the outlines of the five-pointed star to represent the "Five Points of Fellowship", and that it was associated with Pythagoras, that it has any masonic significance. Although the pentagram can be seen as a representation of the golden ratio , whether this was part of Freemasonry’s alleged "secret teachings" or is simply a modern interpolation is a topic of some controversy. The pentagram has no relationship to the Blazing Star, which has no specified number of points. The use of a pentagram or five-pointed star in some Grand Lodge seals and banners as well as on the collar of office worn by the Masters of lodges and Grand Masters of Grand Lodges is of interest to students of masonic history and art.

    A post-structuralist viewpoint on evidence-based medicine by Brian Walsh Submitted for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy University of Otago 2012 ii Abstract BACKGROUND: Evidence-based medicine has made a remarkable contribution by organizing and processing overwhelming amounts of information. Furthermore, some tests and treatments have been shown by EBM to be inappropriate. However, evidence-based medicine (EBM) has been criticised on four fronts. 1. It is reductive. 2. It is undertheorised. 3. It lacks RCT evidence for the method as a whole. 4. It was, at first, totalising. AIM: This work aims to provide a viewpoint on EBM from the writings of three twentieth century French philosophers, often described as “post-structuralist”. METHOD: Employing discourse analysis, I use A Thousand Plateaus and Anti- Oedipus, written by Gilles Deleuze and Felix Guattari, to develop a post-structuralist viewpoint on EBM. In Part Two I use The Birth of the Clinic and Power/Knowledge by Michel Foucault to provide a slightly different post-structuralist viewpoint on EBM. RESULTS: The Deleuzian teaching on smooth space (versus striated space) and nomadic science (versus State science) celebrates a less structured approach to medicine than that provided by EBM. This latter is viewed as part of a State science discourse in which knowledge and power are combined in a regime of truth. According to EBM, although medicine has a number of disciplines contributing to it, epidemiology provides the best evidence. But this work draws on the distinction between State science and nomadic science to feature the struggle in which the voices of disciplines other than epidemiology are quietened with regard to what constitutes “evidence”.

Administrative action showed a similar tendency, although in a less marked degree. To some extent—notably in the security and passport fields—this was largely a response to earlier court decisions. The decrease in the number of prosecutions initiated under anti-Communist legislation, and the dropping of some already begun, were probably primarily due to the same cause. But there were also some modifications, more often in practice than in formal policy, which appeared to reflect some change in the attitude of the executive. In the legislative field, the most notable development was a continued tend- ency toward caution in the adoption of new restrictive measures: none of the recommendations for legislation of this type advanced by congressional com- mittees and other governmental sources were written into law during 1956-57. As in other recent years, many of the major issues in the field of civil liberties arose in connection with Communists, persons suspected of being Communists, and persons accused of connections with Communist groups.

Harris, research associate in the State University of Iowa Library, the facts and inter- pretations in this report have not been carried beyond the summer of 1958. The changes that have occurred since that time among the American Right Wing are matters of degree, not of nature. Some of the organizations and publications re- ferred to in our report have passed out of existence and some new ones have been established. Increased racial tensions in the south, and indeed, all over the world, have hardened group thinking and organizational lines in the United States over this issue. The late Dr. Harris and I both have taken the position that our spirit of objectivity in handling this elusive and complex problem will have to be judged by the report itself. I would like to say that we started this study some twelve years ago because we felt that the American Right Wing was not being evaluated accurately by scholars and magazine writers.
