Oficiální název státu, složení vlády Oficiální název státu • Česky: Arménská republika • Arménsky: Hajastani Hanrapetutjun • Rusky: Республика Армения • Anglicky: Republic of Armenia Stručná charakteristika politického systému Arménie je prezidentskou republikou, legislativu představuje jednokomorové Národní shromáždění se 131 poslanci, kteří jsou voleni na čtyři roky smíšeným volebním systémem (90 mandátů je voleno poměrným systémem a 41 většinovým). Poslední parlamentní volby proběhly dne 6. května 2012. Zvítězila v nich dosud vládní Republikánská strana (70 mandátů), před stranou Prosperující Arménie (36 mandátů), Arménským národním kongresem (7 mandátů), stranou Vláda zákona (6 mandátů), Arménskou revoluční federací (5 mandátů) a stranou Dědictví (4 mandáty), do parlamentu prošli rovněž 3 nezávislí kandidáti. Poslední prezidentské volby se uskutečnily 18. 2. 2013, zvítězil v nich již v prvním kole dosavadní prezident a šéf Republikánské strany Serž Sargsjan. Podkapitoly: 1.1. Kromě výše uvedených dále Řekové, Asyřané, Ukrajinci, Poláci, Němci, Židé, Gruzínci, Romové, Mordvini, Osetinci, Udové a Tatové. Náboženské složení • Arménská apoštolská církev 94,7 %, • jiné křesťanské církve 4 %, • Jezídi 1,3 % K jiným křesťanským církvím patří baptisté a presbytariáni. V zemi působí Římskokatolická církev a Mechitaristická katolická církev (kongregace benediktinských mnichů Arménské katolické církve). JezídštíKurdové žijí hlavně v západní části země a praktikují jezídismus. V zemi žije malá židovská komunita (cca 700 lidí). Část Kurdů vyznává sunnitský islám. Hlavním městem je Jerevan, k jiným velkým městům patří Gyumri (dříve Leninakan), Hrazdan, Vanadzor (dříve Kirovakan), Ijevan, Alaverdi. V čele jednotlivých provincií stojí guvernéři (marzped), jmenovaní vládou. V čele hlavního města stojí starosta volený Radou starších hlavního města, vzešlou z komunálních voleb. USD více než v roce 2014. Zahraniční zadluženost AM dosáhla ke konci 2015 4,309 mld. USD, což je o 13% víc než ukazatel roku 2014 a o 6% více než v listopadu 2015. Domácí zadluženost AM činila ke konci 2015 761,4 mil. USD, což je o 16 % více než ukazatel roku 2014 a o 1,3 % více než v listopadu 2015. AM zahraniční dluh dosáhne v roce 2016 49,4% HDP oproti 48,3% v roce 2015. 6/48 http://www.businessinfo.cz/armenie © Zastupitelský úřad ČR v Jerevanu (Arménie) SOUHRNNÁ TERITORIÁLNÍ INFORMACE Arménie Podle předběžných dat Národního statistického úřadu AM (NSS) činil obrat zahraničního obchodu AM v roce 2015 celkem 4740,9 mil. USD, což představuje 20,6% pokles oproti roku 2014. Objem vývozu za rok 2015 činil 1486,9 mil. USD, což představuje pokles o 3,9%. Tento pokles 2015 je dle ministra financí AM Gagika Khachatryana způsoben nižší poptávkou po domácích výrobcích na zahraničních trzích stejně jako problémy s vývozem a devalvací měny. Objem dovozu AM činil v roce 2015 3254 mil. USD a oproti roku 2014 poklesl o 26,5%.Důsledkem bylo negativní saldo zahraničního obchodu za rok 2015, které činilo -1767,1 mil. USD. I to však znamená zlepšení oproti roku 2014, kdy pasívum obchodní bilance AM dosáhlo -2882,3 mil. USD. Za rok 2015 činila průmyslová výroba cca 1327,1 mld. AMD, což je o 5,2% více než ve stejném období v roce 2014. Hrubá zemědělská výroba dosáhla v roce 2015 hodnoty více než 1002,2 mld. AMD (růst o 11,7%), objem stavebnictví – cca 457,2 mld. AMD (růst o 0,3%). Oproti tomu obrat domácího obchodu dosáhl hodnoty 2282,3 mld. AMD (což znamená pokles o 8%) a objem služeb cca 1188,9 mld. AMD (růst o 2,7%). Ceny průmyslových výrobků se v meziročním srovnání let v AM snížily o 0,8%. Podle NSS růst spotřebitelských cen v lednu až prosinci 2015 ve srovnání se stejným obdobím r. 2014 činil 3,7%, z toho u potravin zvýšení cen dosáhlo 3,1%, u nepotravinářských výrobků to bylo 5,6%, tabáku a alkoholu 1,6% a služeb 3%. Celkem inflace za rok 2015 činila 3,7 %. Index ekonomické aktivity v AM vzrostl za rok 2015 o 3,1% ve srovnání s rokem 2014. Míra nezaměstnanosti v roce 2015 činila 16,4 %.Počet nezaměstnaných registrovaných v regionálních centrech zaměstnanosti v AM v roce 2015 se zvýšil na 76,7tis. osob. K 31.12.2015 počet uchazečů o zaměstnání vzrostl ve srovnání s 12/2014 o 22,6% a činil 89 tis. osob, z nichž 76,7 tis. má status nezaměstnaných. V roce 2015 našlo zaměstnání 16,6 tis.

After 17 years of relatively rocky relations, in 2008, a new Ministry of Diaspora was created that offered little in the way of policy output. Instead, it engaged in “identity gerrymandering,” broadening the category of diaspora from its accepted reference to post-1915 genocide refugees and their descendants, to include Armenians living throughout the post-Soviet region who had never identified as such. This diluted the pool of critical, oppositional diasporans with culturally closer and more compliant emigrants. The new ministry also favoured geographically based, hierarchical diaspora organizations, and “quiet” strategies of dissent. Since these were ultimately attempts to define membership in the nation, and informal, affective ties to the state, the Ministry of Diaspora acted as a “discursive power ministry,” with boundary-defining and maintenance functions reminiscent of the physical border policing functions of traditional power ministries. These efforts were directed at three different “diasporas:” the Armenians of Russia, whom RA elites wished to mold into the new “model” diaspora, the Armenians of Georgia, whose indigeneity claims they sought to discourage, and the “established” western diaspora, whose contentious public ii critique they sought to disarm.
