The second volume to be published this year and within a short period of time, I am fortunate with the overwhelming response in the form of articles received. This issue covers various aspects of the political, social and cultural scenario of the North-East as well as various academic paradigms from across the country and abroad. Sarmah Appearing for the Accused : Sri A. Khan JUDGMENT 1. The accused person, Smti Arundhati Choudhury, has stood trial for an offence punishable under section 500 of the Indian Penal Code (hereinafter called IPC) as leveled against her by the complainant, Dr. Debabrata Borgohain. Allegation 2. The complainant, Dr. Debabrata Borgohain, has alleged that the accused, Smti Arundhati Choudhury was a Junior Artist cum Exhibition Assistant in the Agricultural Information Wing wherein he was serving as the Assistant Agricultural Information Officer. The accused was very irregular in her attendance and would come to the office between 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. and usually left 15 (fifteen) minutes to half an hour after arrival. She also remained absent without leave and would later put signatures on the attendance register for the days when she had been absent. The complainant also received several complaints on account of her rude behavior with her colleagues. The complainant 1 was forced to inform the Director of Agriculture about the conduct of the accused. However, the accused did not mend her ways. 3. -

The research results showed that, demographic profile of journalists,Qualification in Journalism, working position in the present organization, Job and salary satisfaction.Majority of journalists feel unsatisfied with their salaries, and they have no appointment orders. They were said their work was temporarily basis. Finally concluded that the attitude of managements did not interest to pay salaries to Journalists. Key words: Telugu Press, Journalists, Satisfaction, salary, Job. Introduction At the beginning of the journalistic career the rather tough and adverse conditions i.e. low payments, unpaid extra working hours, acting as assistant to the Chief Reporter or Staff reporter by serving personal works, and not working as a real reporter.
