Record Group Number 64, transferred to the Archives in 1978, consists of a series of photographs of health facilities in Tennessee. Some of the photographs show completed structures already in use, while others are of scale drawings or construction at various stages. Most of the photographs are undated, but it appears from the departmental stamps on the backs that they were taken about August 1955. The original purpose for which these photographs were intended is unclear; they may have been used to comply with requirements governing federal funding of hospitals.
