There are several car rental services in the airport. www.brusselsairport.be www.charleroi-airport.be By train: Brussels South (the train station, not the airport) is reachable by Thalys, Eurostar and TGV. http://www.b-rail.be/internat/E/services/stations/index.html From there you need to arrange taxi’s or rent a car (possible at the train station). By car: Important: Travel time is strongly influenced by rush hours. Out of rush hours: The trip from Brussels National Airport or Brussels South Train Station to Klimax takes about 30 minutes (ca. 30 km). From Brussels South Charleroi the trip lasts about 1 hour (85 km). The climbing gym is located in a small town called Breendonk, a municipal district of Puurs-Sint-Amands, located along motorway nr. A12 (from Brussels to Antwerp). The climbing gym is part of the sport centre 'De Vrijhals'. There is parking in front and at the back of the sports centre. REGISTRATION OF TEAM OFFICIALS AND COMPETITORS 3.2.1 European member federations may register, within statutory deadlines, all their team officials who shall be granted free entry into the competition venue. These officials shall be registered via the IFSC website, must be in possession of a valid international licence and specifically nominated for one of the following roles: a) One (1) Head of Delegation; b) Three (3) coaches; c) Three (3) qualified medical or paramedical personnel. TEAM QUOTA: 3.2.2 Subject to article 2.2., member federations shall be permitted to register on the official IFSC registration form a National Team comprising (where applicable) a) Three (3) official team members in each category in each age group of each discipline of the competition. The hosting country shall be entitled to register two (2) more competitors in each age group and category b) Any current Adult/Youth World/European Champions (who shall be registered for the Discipline in which they are champion) and any current Adult/Youth Overall World/European Champions. The registration fee will be invoiced by IFSC Europe to the national federation. No cash-payments will be done on site. For the registration on Friday 2nd of July 2021 it is necessary for all team managers to show the passports or ID-cards (or copies) of their competitors. Provisional Update - 25th of May 2021 COVID RELATED INFORMATION: TECHNICAL MEETING There will be an Online Technical Meeting on Tuesday, 22nd of June 4 pm (CET) primarily to discuss the Covid-19 regulations. The meeting link can be found here. There will be a hybrid Technical Meeting on Friday, 2nd of July 9 am (CET). Only one coach is allowed on site but the meeting can be followed via this link. PREVENTION MEASURES & PROCEDURE ON SITE Details regarding all Covid-19 related measures (prevention measures during the competition, warm-up procedure, testing,…) will be sent to you as soon as possible and will be presented during the virtual Technical Meeting. NECESSARY MEDICAL CERTIFICATE OF A NEGATIVE SARS-COV-2 TEST All athletes, coaches, officials and staff are required to have a valid, negative Sars-Cov-2-Test result at registration. Rapid-Antigen Tests have a validity of 48 hours and PCR Tests have a validity of 72 hours. Both types of tests will be accepted. The event organiser is still working on scanning all your possibilities to get tested in or near Puurs-Sint- Amands. A list of testing streets will be provided as soon as possible.
