Horns Club There was a time when SWCC dominated local cricket across Essex and Cambridgeshire (and that time is almost back upon us!). It became a club ‘game’ to win a match with a 6 to make the umpire raise his two arms above his head (horns!). Members would be taken out for a curry at the end of the season Previous winners Giles Ecclestone, Fraser Hill 2015 Ben Harris ( National T20 team) 2016 Spencer Hill, Will Banks, Chas Daniels 2017 none tbc 2018 Spencer Hill v Wickford (T20), Ryan Deamer v Histon (Whiting 1) 2019 n/a 2020

Team 1st XI

Captain Ben Harris Vice-Captain Review of season The 2020 season was halved in terms of fixtures, courtesy of Covid-19, meaning we were put into a south group with Frinton On Sea, Sawston and Babraham, Bury St Edmunds and Copdock CC. We played each team twice culminating in 3 victories, 6 losses and 1 rained off fixture. These results, given that we fielded the youngest side in the league on average as well as having indifferent availability, were satisfactory. There were plenty of encouraging moments throughout the season, including the away wins gained at last season's EAPL Champions Frinton as well as Bury St Edmunds and Copdock. There was also a victory against Sawston in a pre-season friendly. On an individual basis, Harry Gallian, Nikhil Gorantla and Stanley Leech continue to impress and their development on a personal level is very encouraging heading into the 2021 EAPL season.

9 Team 2nd XI

Captain Luke Ormsby Vice-Captain A very disappointing season other than for the obvious reason as a 2nd team, with one team pulling out of the league, one game abandoned due to rain, one cancelled due to rain and the other game conceded by the opposition we only completed one league game.
