You do not need an account to download general use images from Utah Valley University. You will, however, need an account to access and download from invited galleries. Please contact us if you need access permission to invited galleries. 3 Introduction: Photo Galleries Within the archive you will find a series of galleries where you can download approved UVU images. On the top-left side of the page, you will see a menu of different galleries. If you do not see the gallery menu, select the menu icon in the bottom left of the page. 4 Introduction: Invited UVU Photo Galleries Your account may have access to additional galleries depending on your access permissions. To view these additional galleries, you must be logged in to your account. Once logged in they will be visible within your “Invited Galleries” section. 5 Introduction: Gallery Folders The UVU Photo Archive is organized by gallery and folder structures. 6 Introduction: Search Images All images in the folders are searchable with related UVU names and keywords. Please see “Searching the Archive” on page 12 for more information. 7 Introduction: Download Images Easily download one or more images. Instructions are found in “Downloading Images from the Archive” on page 17. 8 Introduction: Create and Share Your Own Collections Easily create collections of images called Lightboxes and share them with others. See “Creating and Sharing Collections” on page 27 for details. 9 Introduction: FileFlow Mobile App Enjoy mobile access of the UVU Photo Archive and easily search, share, and download images from the FileFlow app. Please see “Fileflow Mobile App” on page 35 for details. 10 UVU Photo Archive web address: uvumarketing.photoshelter.com 11 Searching the Archive 12 Searching the Archive To start, go to uvumarketing.photoshelter.co m. Select “Galleries” on the top left of the page. 13 Searching the Archive In the search bar on the top right, enter an image or title keyword. Image searches will be most productive using the structured keyword list we use and apply to the images. We have included our structured keyword list for your reference in the appendix on page 53. 14 Searching the Archive You may refine the results of your search by selecting the filter icon in the bottom-left corner. 15 Searching the Archive After locating your image, you may add it to a collection or download straight to your device. To add an image to a collection, start on page 27. To download an image, start on page 17. 16 Downloading Images from the Archive 17 Downloading a Single Image You may download one or many images from a folder. To download one image, simply select your desired photo within a folder. 18 Downloading a Single Image After selecting a single image, click on the download icon in the bottom-right corner of the page. 19 Downloading a Single Image A prompt should appear after selecting the download icon. Select “Log In / Use Password” if the ”Download” option does not appear. 20 Downloading a Single Image If you are downloading from the General UVU Photos galleries, you do not need to log in. Select ”Gallery Password” and enter ”gogreen” as the password to download if prompted. All images in the General UVU Photos galleries are accessible with this password. 21 Downloading a Single Image A drop-down box is available to select the desired image format. After selecting the image format, select ”Download.” The image will be located in your downloads folder on your desktop. 22 Downloading Multiple Images To download multiple images, select the download icon in the bottom-right corner. Select the images you intend to download. After making your selection of images, select ”Continue.” 23 Downloading Multiple Images A prompt should appear after selecting the download icon. Select “Log In / Use Password” if the ”Download” option does not appear. 24 Downloading Multiple Images A drop-down box is available to select the desired image format. After selecting the image format, select ”Download.” 25 Downloading Multiple Images If you are downloading from the General UVU Photos galleries, you do not need to log in. Select ”Gallery Password” and enter ”gogreen” as the password to download. All images in the General UVU Photos galleries are accessible with this password. Multiple images will download in a .zip file. 26 Creating and Sharing Collections 27 Creating and Sharing Collections Libris uses the term “Lightbox” to refer to a created collection of images. To gather a set of images into a Lightbox collection, click on the star icon in the bottom- right corner. 28 Creating and Sharing Collections After you’ve selected the star icon on each image you want to add to a collection, select “Go to Lightbox.” 29 Creating and Sharing Collections You should see all the images you’ve selected for your Lightbox collection in a new collection. This lightbox collection will not be saved unless you log into your Libris account. 30 Creating and Sharing Collections Log into your account or create a free account if needed. Your Libris account is separate from your UVU account. You may use the same email as your UVU account when you create a Libris account. 31 Creating and Sharing Collections Once logged into your account, you can rate, comment, and share your collection with others. Within the space provided, type the email address of those with whom you want to share the collection. Check the different boxes to customize the accessibility options for invited users. Select “Share Lightbox.” 32 Creating and Sharing Collections You may also download images from a Lightbox as previously demonstrated. At the top right of the page, select “Download.” 33 Creating and Sharing Collections Select the desired resolution, and your image download should begin. 34 FileFlow Mobile App 35 FileFlow Mobile App FileFlow is an Android- and iPhone-compatible mobile app that enables you mobile access of the UVU Photo Archive to easily search, share, and download images. Log into the FileFlow app using your Libris account. Your Libris account is separate from your UVU account. You may use the same email as your UVU account when you create a Libris account. 36 FileFlow Mobile App Once logged into the FileFlow app, you will see your invited galleries. The gallery and folder structure is the same as the desktop version of the UVU Photo Archive. 37 FileFlow Mobile App Follow the gallery and folder structure to reach individual images. 38 FileFlow Mobile App Sort images, change displays, and select multiple images by using the options in the bottom menu. 39 FileFlow Mobile App To download one or multiple images, select the download icon in the bottom-left corner. 40 FileFlow Mobile App Choose the desired image format, and select “Download” from the drop-down menu. 41 FileFlow Mobile App You can easily share an image with others by clicking the share icon on the bottom menu. 42 FileFlow Mobile App After clicking the share icon, you can share depending on your device’s capabilities. You may also save and copy the image from the share menu. 43 FileFlow Mobile App The information icon will display the image information and usage rights if applicable. 44 Requesting a Photography Service 45 Why Use UVU Photography Services? • A collective 99 years of paid, professional, photography experience in commercial and private industries. • Experts in cultivating and maintaining a consistent and polished brand for Utah Valley University. • Highly subsidized services save you time and money for other creative endeavors. 46 Requesting a Photography Service We are constantly updating our UVU Photo Archive. If you have a visual need that is not within our current library, use the request form located at uvu.edu/marketing to request a photography service. For a photography request, select “Photography” on the top right of the page. 47 Requesting a Photography Service Browse our service options and select “Start a Photography Project.” 48 Requesting a Photography Service After signing on using your UVU SSO credentials, select ”Photography” from the drop-down menu. 49 Requesting a Photography Service Complete the form and attach any relevant documents. 50 Appendix 51 We apply specific keywords from this list to all images uploaded in the UVU Photo Archive. The images and this list are regularly updated with the most relevant keywords. Utah self-imposed three Associate Head Coach Mike Crawfod 18 penalties, which include: a $5,000 financial penalty, a reduction in countable athletically Assistant Coach Jay Brossman 19 related activities for the 2018 baseball season, and a suspension of the head coach for the Director of Operations Sydney Jones 20 first 25% of the 2018 baseball season.
