In accordance with the directions issued by National Green Tribunal, Principal Bench, New Delhi in respect of Kudlu Chikka Kere Lake located at Sy. No. 70 of Kudiu Village, Sarjapura Hobli, Anekal Taluk, Bengaluru Urban District Karnataka State and presently it comes under ward No. 191 of BBMP limits, it is respectfully submitted here that, the extent of the Kudlu Lake is 13Acres and 05 Guntas as per the information furnished by the BBMP 1. It is respectfuliy submitted here that, previous action taken report has already been submitted by the Board to the Registrar, Hon'ble NGT vide No.6238 dated: 28.02.2020. 2. Further Hon'ble NGT, Principal Bench, New Delhi had passed an orcer dated 01.07.2020 & have recommended to give suitable directions from the Board office to the Commissioner, BBMP to take action against írom their end for the illegal constructions taken in the buffer area of Kudlu Chikkere lakes as per the provisions of the relevant Acis & Rules 3 In continuation, to the Hon'ble NGT order, it is respectfully submitted here that, the Board had addressed a letter to Commissioner of BBMP with an intimation to iake action on the illegal construction in the buffer zone of Kud!u
lake to Chikkere and provide permanent barricade/barrier at all the entry points in to the lake to avoid sewage entry into the lake vide No. 4642 dated: 21.01.2021. The copy of the letter addressed to the Commissioner of BBMP is herewith enclosed for kind reference 4 Kudlu Chikkakere lake water samples have been collected on 04.02.2020 and analyzed by Central Environmental Laboratory. The analysis report
reveals that, the lake water is conforming to Class D standards(Class D - Propagation of Wild life & Fisheries,). The analysis report is here with enclosed for kind reference.

< With reference to the above it is subject, to be informed that Hon'ble NGT has issued an Order in of respect OA No.41 of 2019 for removal of illegal construction/encroachments and and preventing garbage sewage entering into the Kudlu Chikkakere Lake. However, a letter was also addressed by the RO, Sarjapura to Joint Commissioner, BBMP, Bommanahalli Zone to take action on the illegal construction in the buffore zone of Kudlu Chikkakere Lake. Further, during previous inspection by R0, Sarjapura, on 09.06.2020 it was informed to provide permanent barricade/barrier at all the entry points into the lake to avoid into the lake. So sewage entry for, we have not received any updates from your end on the same. Hence, once again you are informed to take immediate steps in complying with NGST order OA No.41 of 2019 and look into the issues personally. As per the records of the BBMP has not taken consent of the Board for 500 KLD STP.
