Firstly, this is due to the fact that modern society is concerned about the health state and its improvement, and secondly, there is a worsening of the population health state, an increase in the incidence rate, the spread of socially dangerous and chronic diseases, which lead to the widespread use of resort therapy and the health tourism development. Many works of modern scientists, such as B.I. Aksentiychuk, M.M. Baranovsky, H.A. Barkova, V.M. Boholyubova, V.O. Jaman, S.I. Nikitenko, K.A. Nemets, L.M. Nemets, S.V. Leonov, O.O. Lyubitseva, M.P. Malska, N.P. Melnyk, O.Ya. Romaniv, M.Yu. Rutynsky, N.V. Chernenko, L.T. Shevchuk and others, are devoted to the problems of health tourism organization. Health tourism is a travel to the resort areas for the purpose of treatment. Health tourism is divided into therapeutic, which aims at its own treatment, therapy, rehabilitation after illness, and preventive (wellness tourism), focused on maintaining the body in a healthy state and keeping the balance between human physical and psychological health [4]. Currently, traditional health resorts are no longer a place of treatment and recreation for older people, and they become a multifunctional wellness center for a wider range of consumers. The choice is made between resorts that specialize in the treatment of a particular disease and resorts of mixed type, which generally promote health and contribute to recovery and stress relief [2].

  • Microalgae of Protected Lakes of Northwestern Ukraine

The paper reports the first comprehensive study of microalgal species composition in four lakes of Volhynian Polissya (northwestern Ukraine), in which 271 species (279 intraspecific taxa) of 11 microalgal phyla were identified. Four dominant phytoplankton assemblages were determined for each lake. Bacillariophyta and Charophyta formed more than half (59.2%) of the taxonomic list, accounting for 94 and 66 species respectively. Desmidiaceae was the most diverse family, with 44 species (47 intraspecific taxa) of microalgae. The four lakes are highly dissimilar in species richness and composition, having only 8 (2.9%) species in common. Lake Cheremske had the highest number of algal species – 137 (144). Lake Bile, Lake Somyne and Lake Redychi were much less diverse, with 105, 79 (80) and 75 (78) species respectively. Morphological descriptions, original microg- raphies and figures are presented for a number of species, including some not previously documented in Ukraine: Chromulina cf. verrucosa G. A. Klebs, Eunotia myrmica Lange-Bert. and E. tetraodon Ehrenb. The lakes, which are almost pristine or are recovering, maintain diverse and valuable algal floras, making them important sites in the Pan-European ecological network. DOI: 10.22616/j.balticsurveying.2021.14.005 APPLICATION OF MATHEMATICAL-CARTOGRAPHIC MODELING IN OPTIMIZING THE STRUCTURE OF THE REGIONAL LANDFILL OF SOLID NON-HAZARDOUS WASTE OF THE LUTSK MANAGEMENT CLUSTER Korol Pavlo1, Petrovych Oleksandr2, Pavlyshyn Volodymyr3 1Lesya Ukrainka Volyn National University, 2National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine", 3Volyn branch of the SE Rivne Research and Design Institute of Land Management Abstract Ukraine is one of the countries where the problem of waste management is particularly acute and deteriorating every year. The Regional Waste Management Plan in Volyn region by 2030 envisages a reduction in the total amount of landfilled waste from 97.68% to 30%, and the number of sites for their disposal up to 4-8 regional landfills per region. Ecological-economic mechanism of solid non-hazardous waste (SNHW) management is based on a harmonious combination of environmental constraints with the economic attractiveness of regional landfills and involves working with geographically defined objects based on the use of methods of processing geospatial information, one of which is mathematical-cartographic modeling. Thus, the main purpose of this work is to substantiate the possibilities of applying the method of mathematical-cartographic modeling in the design of the system of regional landfills of SNHW in the Volyn region. In order to address the issue of placement of SNHW management facilities, the territory of the region is divided into four management clusters. The division of the territory took into account the composition, properties, methods of solid waste collection, logistics, load on waste processing complexes, volumes of waste generated, spatial planning, etc.

Ukraine, Belarus & Bessarabia) By Henry L. deZeng IV Kharkov-Rogan I Photo credit: U.S. National Archives, Photographic and Cartographic Division.; taken 14 Sept. 1941. Kharkov-Rogan I was built in 1930 for use as a military flight school. It had 8 medium and large aircraft hangars and 1 very large repair hangar, approx. 40 permanent barrack buildings, 3 workshops, admin buildings and storage structures, an oval athletic track and other facilities all grouped along the W boundary and SW corner of the landing area. There were about 10 additional structures along the S boundary that may have been for aircraft servicing and stores. Additionally, there were 22 blast bays for twin-engine and single-engine aircraft spaced along the W and S boundaries of the landing area. A separate supply dump with its own rail spur was approx. 1 km S of the airfield. Nearly all of these buildings had been destroyed or badly damaged by 1944, the majority of them blown up by the retreating Germans. Edition: February 2020 Airfields Russia (incl. Ukraine, Belarus & Bessarabia) Introduction Conventions 1. For the purpose of this reference work, “Russia” generally means the territory belonging to the country in September 1939, the month of the German attack on Poland and the generally accepted beginning of World War II, including that part of eastern Poland (i.e., Belarus, Belorussia, Weissruthenien) and western Ukraine annexed by the Soviet Union on 29 September 1939 following the USSR’s invasion of Poland on 17 September 1939. Bessarabia and Northern Bukovina were seized by the USSR between 26 June and 3 July 1940.
