SXSW ONLINE MUSIC FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES FULL LIST of SHOWCASING ARTISTS and PRESENTERS Austin, Texas SXSW ONLINE MUSIC FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES FULL LIST OF SHOWCASING ARTISTS AND PRESENTERS Austin, Texas - March 8, 2021 - The South by Southwest® Music Festival (SXSW®) presents the full list of 280 Showcasing Artists invited to perform online at the 35th annual event. The festival will be a totally distinctive experience with artist showcases coming from unique and iconic venues around the globe. This essential industry event occurs March 16 - 20, 2021. The SXSW Music Festival programmers and presenters are creating an exceptional online musical experience. New additions to the list of showcases and presenters of this year’s performances include CaoTai Music / Crater Monde / China Gathering, Digital Love, Mint Talent Group, NPR Tiny Desk Meets SXSW, Pagal Haina, Third Culture and Warner Records. A full list of presenters can be found here Showcases take place Tuesday - Friday from 12:30 p.m. - 10:00 p.m. CT and on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. CT. Showcases vary from 30 minutes to over an hour in length with 4-6 artists performing, but of course, there are exceptions with presenters using the format they feel is the most compelling. Showcases must be viewed when they air — as if one is there. For passholders in the eastern hemisphere (or early risers in the western), the schedule repeats over the next 12 hour cycle. L'electricitat i energia és el protagonista del recent disc Calambre (Sony Music, 2020), gravat entre Barcelona, Buenos Aires i Los Ángeles, i que, en la seva arrencada, ja va assolir 9 milions d'streams. Va ser al Festival de Pedralbes de Barcelona que es va mostrar aquesta preeminència de públic jove i entregat al 100% a venerar l'artista argentina afincada a Barcelona (i aviat també en altres indrets com Miami), en la línia d'artistes estrella com Bad Gyal o Rosalia. El talent que es valora en Nathy Peluso no és tant tenir una veu immensa i profunda com és la de Sílvia Pérez Cruz, sinó com fusiona i recupera altres sons que generacionalment potser no contactarien amb audiències joves, com aquelles versions de soul i de blues amb què es va fer popular a les xarxes. Mostra d'això, la cançó del recent treball "Puro veneno", on passa la salsa pel seu filtre ple de passió i intensitat. Si cançons com "La sandungera" ja es van escoltar en el directe del 2019 quan va actuar al Primavera Sound, dimecres a Pedralbes va repassar les dotze cançons del disc Calambre oferint una versió d'ella mateixa molt més segura i empoderada.

There is very little that Local authorities can do to promote live music venues unless the council has a live music strategy in place. Without the political directive to recognise and value the local music scene local authorities do not see either their social or economic value and therefore do not take measures to preserve them as part of the Authority’s Plan. 2. It’s possible for a local authority to be imaginative, use Planning Gain to require developers to support live music as a “public art”, make measurable provision of live music a condition of renewing and awarding licences but this needs leadership. 3. In our experience, a local authority’s staff, with one or two exceptions do not know how to recognise the value of a live music venue. The social benefits do not fit into their metrics. Very often a policy that seeks to attract inward investment discounts the value of small businesses. 4. Most live music in Wales does not happen in dedicated venues and theatres. It happens in bars & pubs, social clubs, meantime & pop-up spaces, fields, weddings, festivals. It is frequently a valuable part of a business for the retention of customers etc, but rarely forms the main part of a business’ revenue.

Having fronted the band Gorky's Zygotic Mynci from 1991 until their demise in 2004, Euros went solo and released his debut album ‘Chops’ on the Wichita label in 2006, followed by a further 3 albums for the label: ‘Bore Da’, ‘The Miracle Inn’ (both 2007) and ‘Cheer Gone’ (2008).
