The rapid evolution of technology makes it crucial for us to deliberately shape how we interact online, to promote tolerance and coexistence, to help our youth to learn skills that will allow them to cooperate, to function more effectively in meeting the challenges their generation will face. His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and Chairman of the Global Commission for Tolerance in Esports and Gaming, convenes the Board’s second session as part of a quarterly review of its plans, with a view to discussing the Commission’s strategic vision, objectives and goals specific to the implementation of policies with attributa- ble factors related to tolerance – values that would foster more understanding and knowledge-based engagement in esports and gaming. The Board will explore the mechanisms for developing key policies and codes of conduct for tolerance that can be realistically implemented within the esports and gaming communities. Policies and mechanisms for utiliz- ing data and research to encourage and create open-minded and knowledge-based players in the games, shall be used and implemented. The Board will further discuss the impact of technology and the poten- tial evolvement of artificial intelligence in gaming and how this cyber platform can grow with tolerance embedded codes for sustainable attainment for the benefit of the global youth. Partnerships with the international community to devel- op meaningful relationships that can promote the idea of tolerance in esports and gaming at all levels of the indus- try to create harmonious relationships and positive engagement, is a key objective of the Board’s mission. The second session of the Global Commission is set to discuss avenues that would propel its mission to new heights with a view to attracting as much participation as possible from stakeholders in the industry, taking esports and gaming to new levels that espouse to values of tolerance, human fraternity and growth, in one of the planet’s busiest cyber platforms. His Excellency Sheikh Nahayan Mabarak Al Nahyan is the U.A.E. Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence and has occupied this position since October 2017. His Excellency joined the federal government in 1992 and held a number of government portfolios including Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Minister of Education, and Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development. Dr. Wirdati Mohammed Radzi Board Member Malaysian Esports Federation

Dr Wirdati is the Sports Commissioner for Malaysia, responsible for oversight on all governance issues for sports federations. A lawyer who oversaw the club licensing program for the Malaysia Football Federation, Dr. Wirdati was called to bar in 2019 and sits on the high court. She has extensive education in sports administration having degrees from both Ohio and Loughborough. An advocate for women in sport, her recent research is on the role of Muslim women management in sport, a topic considered vital. She is currently Vice President (education) of the Asian Association of Sport Management based in Tokyo.

H.E. Arkady Dvorkovich FIDE President & Former Deputy PM of Russia Mr. Arkady Dvorkovich is a Fide President. On the 3rd of October 2018, Mr. Dvorkovich was elected to assume this role at the general assembly in Batumi, Georgia. Arkady Dvorkovich is also Chairman of the Skolkovo Foundation since September 2018. He has served as the chairman of the local organizing committee for the FIFA World Cup-2018 that was universally hailed as one of the best organized global sporting events in history. Previously, he served as Deputy Prime Minister of the Russian Federation from may 2012 to may 2018. In 1994 he graduated from the economics department of Lomonosov State University with a degree in economic cybernetics, and from the new economic school with a Masters in Economics. In 1997 he graduated from Duke University in North Carolina with a Masters in Economics. Arkady Dvorkovich was born in 1972 in Moscow. Dr. Heidi Alaudeen Alaskary CEO Special Olympics Saudi Arabia | Diversity and Inclusion and Equity Expert

Dr. Heidi is the Lead – Co-chair for the t20 Task Force 6 on Economy, Employment, and Education in the Digital Age. Currently she is the CEO of the Special Olympics Saudi Arabia. Former Managing Director for Diversity & Inclusion and Partnerships at the General Sports Authority, and Assistant to the Head of the Saudi Arabia delegation to Special Olympics World Games Abu Dhabi 2019. Prior to this position she worked at as the Director of Research Affairs at King Salman Center for Disability Research, where she was an educator, researcher, and advocate for persons with disabilities. Dr. Heidi is focused on spreading diversity and inclusion within sports at a National level.
