RUSTENBURG-RUSTENBURG- With the festive season just around the corner, the police in Rustenburg have had an increase in the number of theft out of vehicle cases. These crimes are encouraged by motor vehicle owners leaving valuables in plain sight in their vehicles, at shopping complexes as well as at their places of residence. "We would like to encourage motor vehicle owners to refrain from leaving valuables in their vehicles when they do their shopping or when they park their vehicles at home or anywhere," said Sergeant Ofentse Mokgadi, police spokesperson in Rustenburg. According to Mokgadi, leaving valuables such as laptops, cameras, cellphones, jewellery etc in your vehicle is the main thing that attracts criminals.
