This work uses environ- mental monitoring techniques to analyze the current state of surface waters in the river. The content of main ions, biogenic and inorganic ions, heavy metals, organic impurities in seasonal and annual dynamics have been studied. Results show that, despite the tightening of requirements for wastew- ater discharge into the Ishim River basin, a number of water quality indicators did not fulfill the regulatory requirements for surface water bodies during 2013–2019. It has been identified that the greatest pollution in the Ishim River is brought by enterprises of the Karaganda-Temirtau techno- genic region, located in the upper reaches of the river. Future water quality monitoring is needed and should include increasing the number of sampling locations and the sampling frequency in Citation: Salikova, N.S.; order to characterize the spatial and temporal variability of hydrochemical parameters and allow a Rodrigo-Ilarri, J.; Alimova, K.K.; Rodrigo-Clavero, M.-E.

Multilateral and quantitative (to the practicable extent) assessment of media activity is important for understanding their objectivity, role, focus, and, ultimately, the quality of the society’s “fourth power”. The paper proposes a method for evaluating the media in several modalities (topics, evaluation criteria/properties, classes), combining topic modeling of the text corpora and multiple-criteria decision making.

  • Investigation of the Stress-Strain State of Balls Under Deformation in a Closed Die

The possibility of implementing the proposed method is proved experimentally, and the presence of high compressive stresses in the deformation center is shown using the method of sliding lines and mathematical computer modeling. Due to the alternate insertion of rams, the process of plastic deformation is intensified, which makes it possible to obtain high-quality balls. The maximum average stress in the deformation center obtained by the theoretical calculation method of sliding lines is – 436,94 MPa, and the values obtained by mathematical computer modeling is – 500 MPa. Metallographic analysis showed that the grain diameter of the obtained ball samples in the central part, compared to the initial samples, was crushed 3 times (up to 5 μm). Keywords: high strength ball, forging, severe plastic deformation, stress-strain state, closed die, modelling INTRODUCTION deformation [6 -8], which, using various schemes and combinations of stress-strain conditions, make it possi- It is known that metal balls work in very difficult ble to obtain materials with ultrafine-grained and nano- conditions: shock and dynamic, under static loads and structure at relatively low cost, have recently become increased wear.
