Job Responsibilities:

• Work closely with writers, directors, studio executives and content producers to develop concepts and story ideas into bonafide content for production and release for theatrical and OTT platforms. • Daily engagement with core creative teams to supervise and manage the creative and production development process through requisite stages. • Track the progress of content creation set against specified timelines and sanctioned budgets.

2 • Being involved in every aspect of the films being produced by the company, starting from the development stage, all the way to the release of the film. • Ideating, strategizing and implementing the entire Marketing and Publicity Campaign for all our films – posters, teaser, trailers, dialogue promos, songs, etc. • Conceptualizing and cracking in-film branding and out-of-film associations for all our films and seeing them through to the end. • Ideating, strategizing and implementing the entire Digital Campaign for all our films, which includes making a separate Digital Campaign for the lead actors/director of the film and the film’s official pages, across all Social Media platforms. • Planning the entire PR campaign for all our films. • Coordinating all Marketing, Digital and PR related activities with the lead actors/director of the films. • Taking care of the Corporate Communications for the company. • Ideating, strategizing and implementing the Digital Strategy for the company. • Organizing special screenings of our films for media veterans. • Organizing/Managing industry screenings. • Maintaining good relations with all corporate, film and entertainment related media. • Carrying out specially commissioned researches on scripts of our films/completed films. • Buying industry and film related researches from companies like Ormax, to keep the team up to date on latest happenings, changing taste of audiences, etc. • Keeping a tab on industry trends.

Job Responsibilities:

• Contributing to exclusive news and happenings in the film industry. • Constantly helping revamp brand Filmfare, the magazine and the website and its social media properties for online markets. • Conducting interviews with prominent film stars, directors, producers, fashion designers and technicians. • Conceptualizing and handling the entire production work for most magazine shoots. • Working on brand extensions for the company. • Creating promotional material for the magazine. • Maintaining contacts with actors from the film industry. • Independently handling varied columns for the magazine and overseeing all the other sections. • Being responsible for selection of photographs in all the features. • Ideating and formulating cover stories, features, interviews and exclusives. • Sub-editing and copy checking stories for the magazine and website. • Brainstorming and executing advertorials to get added revenue for the magazine. • Being closely involved with the Ad sales team in order to bridge the gap between the Ad sales and Editorial Team. Editor at STARWEEK, Magna Publications in Mumbai (from July 2011 to July 2012) I was an integral part of the weekly film magazine, StarWeek, right since its inception in 2009 and became the Editor of the magazine in July 2011.

Joint Editor at STARDUST, Magna Publications in Mumbai (from February 2012 to August 2012) As a senior in the team, I have played multiple roles on the creative and content side in the capacity of an Editor, similar to my role in Filmfare.

Editor - SHOWTIME, Magna Publications, Mumbai (from March 2011 – March 2012) I joined the company in May 2007 and was promoted to the Editor of the magazine in 2012.

OTHER INTERESTS

• Have written several articles for the Marble Arch School Newsletter. • Have attended the Theatre in Education Workshop for two consecutive sessions at interschool level and participated in the interschool dramatics competitions, winning the school laurels for two consecutive years. • Made a 15-minute short movie called SURVIVE on AIDS awareness for St. Andrews college. • Have made a TV show on SHOWTIME magazine and the television industry for a college project. • Worked with the Rotract Club at Mithibai College for two years.
