CONFERENCE CONCEPTION The end of the 20th century was marked by collapse of the socialist block and disintegration of the Soviet Union which resulted in global economic and social transformations. The modern world appears to a great degree to be the outcome of transformation processes. Analyzing changes in various economic, social and political structures of post-soviet world of two latest decades, as well as specifying patterns of spatial and structural shifts, forecasting trends in development of Eurasian states, regions and cities is of great theoretical and practical value for social, economic and geographic sciences. Research of these topics presupposes devising certain theories and models of social, economic and spatial evolution of states, regions and cities depending on the course of current transformation processes, peculiarities of endogenous and exogenous development factors. Shukshin (1929-1974) was one of the unique Russian authors of "village prose". But what is the actual state of the art in Russian village prose studies around the world? What are the language, cultural and psychological features of the prototype heroes of Russian village prose in contemporary Siberian people? The conference aims to discuss the actual issues of Russian and Siberian mentality in philological and cultural studies, philosophy, psychology, history, anthropology, ethnology, cinema and arts. Health tourism is a specific type of tourism with great prospects. Most people do not have time for long trips, but there is a great need for a change of scenery and restoration of strength. There are many examples when in the regions in order to improve health and relaxation, nearby areas are being developed. It is most promising to create programs for such tourism near existing resorts that have the necessary infrastructure and medical facilities, while individual client requests must be taken into account. It is proposed to research health tourism as a territorial tourist complex, which includes not only specialized infrastructure but also territories adjacent to resorts.
