As this crisis continues to tragically take lives in our community, Iwould respectfully draw your attention to paragraph 7 of the motion which requests a response to this letter within three weeks. I would note with gratitude that our local Members of Parliament and Members of Provincial Parliament have offered to support funding requests, including using the resources of their offices to assist with information exchange or any other assistance which can expedite bringing more resources to combat opioid addiction in Barrie.
I look forward to your reply and am at your disposal to discuss this letter and how our governments may work together to combat opioids in Barrie.
Sincerely,
Jeff Lehman Mayor
