Artificial turf was added to the “track stadium” recently and a new scoreboard was erected. The only thing missing was seating, concession stands and restrooms on the visitors’ side. A $1.4 million donation from Robert and Jean Ann LeGrand made it possible to add those facilities as well as lights. The new site will be named the LeGrand Stadium and Sports Field. It will be the first time that the home football games have been played at an “on campus” facility. The Rams’ first home game will be Sept. 13 when Western (Colo.) State visits.
