Since 1992, SCCF staff and volunteers have covered every inch of Sanibel and Captiva beaches each morning May through October finding and marking sea turtle nests laid the night before. Remember to turn off beach lights at night to protect nesting turtles and their hatchlings. The next Turtle Tracks program is Thursday, September 17 at 10 a.m. at the SCCF Nature Center.
