Business Update of MNCN: Sustaining Strong FTA Performance in 2021 PT Media Nusantara Citra Tbk (“MNCN” or “the Company”) has successfully extend its dominance to record industry-leading audience share across Prime Time and Non- Prime Time belt, supported by its various in-house productions across numerous content genres. As of April 2021, MNCN managed to book an overall audience share of 52.4% on Prime Time and 40.4% on Non-Prime Time, a significant improvement from 34.2% and 34.6% respectively in the same period last year.

The Company’s leading drama production, Ikatan Cinta, continued its chart topping performance with an average rating and audience share of 11.4% and 41.5%, respectively, for 194 days as at 30 April 2021, since it was premiered on 19 October 2020. Kindly note, the no 1 rated drama series in the country has received an award from MURI (Indonesia World Record Museum) and was inducted into the record books for being the first ever drama series on FTA TV that generates more than 40% audience share for 100 consecutive days on 1 April 2021 and still consistently generating more than 40% audience share until 24 April 2021.

The Company’s other programs also showed tremendous performance by April 2021 as 16 out of TOP 20 programs are all broadcasted out of the Company’s FTA TV compared to 3 out of 20 programs in the same corresponding period last year.

Looking ahead into 2021, The Company is set to maintain its tremendous TV performance by an exceptional programming line-up, both regular and special programs, all of which are produced in-house within MNCN’s state of the art studio facilities, a strategy that lets the Company maximize its advertising revenue, providing the flexibility to place non-regular advertising or advertisement embedded in the content (built-in, virtual advertisement, squeeze frame, running text, etc). Social Media Performance Update MNCN’s social media performance continued to show its dominant presence as of April 2021, attaining the biggest number of subscribers/followers and views. The Company’s various YouTube channels generated over 133 million subscribers and 41.9 billion views as of April 2021. Furthermore, its multi-channel network (MCN) is also growing in number, which gained 66.2 million subscribers and 7.3 billion views. In less than 10 months, MNCN other social media monetization streams on Facebook (est. July) and TikTok (est. September), performed well to date by achieving huge base of followers, reaching more than 51 million and 55 million respectively.

MNCN Aggregate Social Media Performance

General & News Portal Performance Update The Company’s 4 online portals - Okezone.com, Sindonews.com, iNews.id, and idxchannel.com showed strong traction in terms of its monthly active user (MAU), where it reached more than 75 million, a new collective record high, which was achieved by end of March 2021. MNCN also recently added 1 new online portal under its operation called celebrities.id, positioned as an online portal for quality and exclusive news coverage in the entertainment industry.

RCTI+ Performance Update The Company is also experiencing rapid MAU growth under its super-app called RCTI+ with 30.5 million as of April 2021, this represents a growth of more than 3.9x in the number of monthly unique viewers from January 2020 – April 2021. With various initiatives that has been implemented and moving forward with numerous new strategies, the Company is targeting the super-app to reached at least 40 million MAU by the end of this year.
