15 General Information TRIPS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE Activity Levels: Levels are offered as a guideline only. LOW– Low activity, some walking and usually self paced. May include long periods of sitting. MEDIUM- Moderate activity, with walking and standing during parts of the trip. HIGH– High activity level, with majority of time walking and standing, such as a walking tour. May also include uneven walking surfaces. FIT– High intensity activity. Must be fit and able to navigate stairs, trails, and uneven walking surfaces without assistance. Meeting and Parking Location: Old Santa Clara Police Station, 1541 Civic Center Drive (corner of Lincoln Avenue and in Santa Clara). Please arrive at least 15 minutes before trip departure for check-in; 30 minutes for overnight trips. Please note that the parking lot is shared with city employees and parking is on a first come, first served basis. Motor coach will leave promptly at time specified. Please note: During a trip, if a situation (urgent or non-urgent) arises where you are unable to meet-up with your "travel group" at the pre-designated time and place identified by the tour escort(s), it will be your responsibility and expense to make arrangements to get yourself home. Gratuities: Trip fees include a modest gratuity for the driver of the motor coach and servers at hosted meals. When you experience exceptional service, you may choose to tip an additional amount. City of Santa Clara employees and tour escorts cannot accept gratuities. Registration: All travelers must sign-up in advance at the Santa Clara Senior Center and have a current registration on file. Payment or deposits are collected at the time of registration. Payments should be made payable to the Tour Provider (see trip description) or to the Santa Clara Senior Center (if a trip is organized by the City of Santa Clara). Seating: Seating on the motor coach is assigned by staff and determined by when you register. Seats are assigned from the front to back. For overnight trips where a deposit was accepted, seating is assigned by the date when the final payment is made.

16 General Information Times are Subject to Change: We make every effort to stay on schedule; however due to the nature of travel, times may vary depending on traffic, weather, overtime, etc. which may cause delays or schedule changes. Trip/Meal Substitutions: Trip itineraries may be modified due to unforeseen circumstances. Every effort will be made to replace the location and/or activity with one that is similar. Refunds are not guaranteed should there be a change in itinerary. Hosted meals may be modified at the discretion of the tour company or restaurant. Waitlists: If a trip is full, we encourage travelers to place their name on the waitlist. This assists staff in determining the interest level of trips and scheduling of future opportunities. There is no fee or commitment to place your name on waitlists. If space becomes available, staff will contact travelers in the order they were waitlisted. Withdrawal Policy: Please choose wisely. Refunds will only be provided when a replacement can be found from the ATG trip waitlist, through the procedures outlined under “Traveler Replacement” in the Guidelines for Use, or the trip is canceled by the Senior Center.
