City Get your fit on. Get your play on. This July, discover the power of play and adventure. For children and adults, play is a vital part of our mental wellbeing, physical health and personal interactions. During Park and Recreation Month, the National Recreation and Parks Association (NRPA) and the City of Westerville are challenging everyone to get their play on. Whether it’s summer camp, an adult sports league, exploring a trail, Zumba class, meeting friends on the playground, playing cards in the park, or discovering nature — parks and play go hand in hand. The City of Westerville offers a month full of fun from Jazz concerts to a bike rodeo, to exploring a wetland. The following gives you and your family something to do each day, but don’t limit your activities to this list. Get out and explore your City throughout the month.
