On Line-Complete the on-line registration form located at http://www.ala.org/events/annual2003/registration.html JOIN AS A FIRST-TIME MEMBER AND SAVE! First time members can join ALA at the special rate of $50. Add the $50 new member fee with the member registration fee and save up to $25 over the non-member reg- istration fee. Call 1-800-545-2433, ext. 5108 to request a membership application. Membership application and registration form must be submitted at the same time. ADVANCE EXHIBIT BADGES An exhibits only badge is USD $25 and allows the bearer admittance to the exhibits only. An exhibits plus badge is USD $35, and allows the bearer admittance to the exhibits and the Opening General Session. Use the registration form on page 117. Registrations for multiple exhibits only and exhibits plus badges will not be honored if sent on only one form. No refunds for exhibits only and exhibits plus registration. BADGES If registration is received by May 9, 2003, your badge will be mailed to you no later than two weeks before the conference. Badges will not be sent to countries other than the U.S. and Canada. Residents of other nations may pick up badges at the International Registration Desk, Toronto Metro Convention Center. REFUNDS Written requests for refunds must be submitted and received by May 19, 2003. Cancellation of Conference or Preconference registration will result in a handling fee of $25 for each item cancelled. Meal Functions or Other Events may be cancelled in writing by May 19, 2003 with no penalty. No phone cancellations. No refunds after May 19, 2003. No ”Exhibits Only” or “Exhibits Plus” refunds. Refunds will be processed after June 28, 2003, please allow 4-6 weeks to receive your check. TICKET PURCHASES Many tickets events are now listed on the Advance Registration Form. Please register for those events at the time of conference registration. Attendees who decide to add events after an Advance Registration has already been submitted may submit another form with the additional selections noted.
