The campus offers an appealing environment for education and employment, state-of-the-art tech- nological (test) facilities. The campus is a one-stop-showcase for automotive technology and mobility concepts, co-creation or a new home base for innovation and product de- velopment. A meeting place where knowledge and businesses come together with the aim of promoting cross-sector cooperation, knowledge sharing and open innovation. The smart, safe and responsible mobility solutions for today and tomorrow are realized at the Automotive Campus. We work in close collaboration with our partners in a top international technological region: Brainport, The Netherlands. Technology: On the booth of the Automotive Campus, we are showcasing some of our residents. Technology represented ranges from alternative fuel technology (Formic Acid / Hydrozine) by Team FAST which can power a city bus, to a solar powered vehi- cle (award winning and proven technology) by start-up company Lightyear as well as the Holst Center (TNO-IMEC) presents flexible OLED electronics for automotive inte- riors. Automotive Campus 30 5708 JZ Helmond Tel.: +31 (0)492 562 600 The Netherlands Inez van Poppel [email protected] www. automotivecampus.com Team FAST Team FAST- Formic acid to power Team FAST is creating a system which can produce Energy from Hydrozine, a fuel consisting mainly of formic acid. This sys- tem could be of great value for creating sustainable heavy transport because it has a lot of benefits over competing sustain- able technologies in this sector. The easy and fast refueling fits in the current infra- structure and makes adaptation a lot easi- er. CO2 and water are used to create Hy- drozine and the CO2 is exhausted in the end, this gives a closed carbon loop and makes Hydrozine sustainable. Our goal is to create a fully sustainable value chain for Hydrozine by working together with partners in the automotive industry! Technology: Team FAST is creating a system which can convert Hydrozine to power, Hydrozine being sustainably produced formic acid. This innovative new technology en- ables sustainable mobility using a liquid fuel, this makes refueling easy and fits the current infrastructure.
