(AQW 33833/11-15) Mrs O’Neill (The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development): The Department provided hospitality at a number of external events during the year. These included a number of CAFRE graduation ceremonies, AFBI demonstration events and the Balmoral breakfast. The total cost incurred by (i) the Department for the 2013/14 financial year was £75,268.25 and (ii) £21,175.50 in respect of the Department’s four arm’s-length bodies. New Posts Created Within the Department Mrs Dobson asked the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development to detail the (i) name; and (ii) number of new posts created within her Department within each of the last three years; and whether posts were filled by internal trawl or by external appointment. The Hearty Lives Craigavon project aims to improve heart health for Black Minority Ethnic (BME) and Irish Traveller Communities. The Project commenced in January 2013 and the existing funding stream ceased in March 2016. The Hearty Lives Craigavon Project was led by the Southern Health and Social Care Trust, developed in partnership with Armagh City, Banbridge, and Craigavon Borough Council (the Council), Craigavon Traveller Support Committee, Community Intercultural Programme, and the Public Health Agency; and was funded by the British Heart Foundation. In addition to the formal cross-sectoral Steering Group partnership, the basis of Hearty Lives Craigavon was that this would be a Project delivered in partnership at all levels.

    STATUTORY RULES OF NORTHERN IRELAND 2014 No. 36 ROADS The M1/Trunk Road T3 and M1-M2 Link (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2014 Made - - - - 12th February 2014 Coming into operation - 1st April 2014 The Department for Regional Development(a) in accordance with Article 15(1) of the Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993(b) having constructed the lengths of road described in Part I of Schedule 1 considers it expedient to designate them as special roads. The Department in accordance with Article 14(1) of that Order considers it expedient for the purpose of improving the trunk system that the lengths of road described in Parts I and II and the road and lengths of road described in Part III of Schedule 1 should be designated as trunk roads and that the roads and lengths of trunk road described in Part IV of that Schedule should cease to be trunk road. The Department has published and served a notice in compliance with paragraphs 1 and 2 of Schedule 8 to that Order. No objection has been received. The Department, in exercise of the powers conferred by Articles 14(1), 15(1), 16(1) and (2) and 68(6) of the Roads (Northern Ireland) Order 1993 and now vested in it(c) orders and directs as follows: Citation, commencement and interpretation 1.—(1) This Order may be cited as The M1/Trunk Road T3 and M1-M2 Link (Amendment) Order (Northern Ireland) 2014 and shall come into operation on 1st April 2014.     Whiteabbey Shared Neighbourhood News Winter Edition 2020 INTRODUCTION Welcome to the festive edition of Whiteabbey Shared Neighbourhood News! This edition is packed full of news from across the community along with seasonal health & safety advice and information. Our hope is to provide some heart warming stories in these strange times we currently find ourselves in and to provide information regarding help, advice and support along with news on upcoming activities in the area. Inside our Winter Edition is: Community Support Services Information Christmas recipe Upcoming Events Feature Article How To Get Involved WHAT DOES SHARED HOUSING MEAN? The delivery of shared housing is now an action in the Programme for Government 2016 -2021, and the Department for Communities is committed to delivering approximately 200 shared social housing units per year as part of the Social Housing Development Programme. The Programme for Government shared housing is badged "Housing For All." Each shared neighbourhood such as Abbeyville Place, Whiteabbey is supported through the development and delivery of a five-year Good Relations Plan. The Good Relations Plan is managed by the Housing Association developing the shared scheme and it includes ‘bonding’ programmes which are delivered to the new shared neighbourhood residents, and ‘bridging’ programmes which are delivered between the new shared residents and residents from surrounding communities. COVID-19 Community Response Life in Whiteabbey Presbyterian Church has returned to a sort of normality and whilst many of our activities continue online, one or two groups have managed to meet in the building within the current covid guidelines. Like many groups at this time of year we are planning our Christmas activities and whilst we are unable to gather as we would normally have done for the Christmas Fair, Carols on the Steps and our annual service of Carols by Candlelight, we will be busy producing material for access via our YouTube Channel and Facebook page.

Race Director’s Foreword Welcome to the 2018 edition of the SPAR Tour of Omagh. Now in its ninth year, the race is going from strength to strength thanks to the dedication of Omagh Wheelers members, and to the many volunteers and friends connected to Omagh Wheelers Cycling Club. In 2018, we continue to host two separate races: A4 and Women's. This special event gives both types of riders the opportunity to experience the demands and challenges of a three day event, which provides real competitive racing, and an excellent environment for riders to gain experience and develop. The demands of a three-day event are very different to a normal one-day race, as not only do riders have to try and recover before the demands of the next stage, but you also have a mixture of cycling disciplines to contend with: a time-trial stage which will benefit those strong against the clock, a King of the Hills (KOH) competition for the climbers, and a Points competition for riders with a Cavendish-style kick.

Three Project Officers are employed to deliver NICHI across the ten district council areas of the Northern area. They are based in the community network organisations of South Antrim Rural Network, North Antrim Community Network, Cookstown and Western Shores Area Network and Coleraine Rural & Urban Network. Their role is to engage local network members (more than 600 community groups) and the wider community to ensure groups are enabled, consulted and involved in the implementation of the health and social wellbeing improvement agenda.

We also use a number of Northern Ireland Fire and Rescue Service sites for NIAS stations and deployment points and staff have access to a dedicated room or building at those locations.
