Playwrights Horizons' A Life also earned 4 total nominations, including for star David Hyde Pierce and director Anne Kauffman, earning her 4th career Lortel Award nomination; as did MCC Theater's YEN, including one for recent Academy Award nominee Lucas Hedges for Outstanding Lead Actor. Lighting Designer Ben Stanton earned a nomination for the fifth consecutive year - and his seventh career nomination, including a win in 2011 - for his work on YEN. Chapter 47 28 – 31 After Israel has been in Egypt for about 17 years and at the age of 147, Jacob senses that his time is about to come to leave this world. Jacob is aware of the promises that were made to his fathers. He knows that his family will eventually go back to the land of Canaan. He asked Joseph to make sure he was taken back to Canaan and buried. Joseph agreed and swore to him that he would personally get it done. With Joseph’s pledge to bury his father in the land of Canaan, Jacob bow’s to Joseph from his bed, thus fulfilling the dream that Joseph had as a young man. Now even the sun and moon did bow to him, not just the eleven stars. Just as this prophetic dream came to pass about Joseph, there is another prophetic word about Yeshua that will come to pass.     ALL MY SONS a play in three acts by Arthur Miller Characters: Joe Keller (Keller) Kate Keller (Mother) Chris Keller Ann Deever George Deever Dr. Jim Bayliss (Jim) Sue Bayliss Frank Lubey Lydia Lubey Bert Act One The back yard of the Keller home in the outskirts of an American town. August of our era. The stage is hedged on right and left by tall, closely planted poplars which lend the yard a secluded atmosphere. Upstage is filled with the back of the house and its open, unroofed porch which extends into the yard some six feet. The house is two stories high and has seven rooms. It would have cost perhaps fifteen thousand in the early twenties when it was built. Now it is nicely painted, looks tight and comfortable, and the yard is green with sod, here and there plants whose season is gone. At the right, beside the house, the entrance of the driveway can be seen, but the poplars cut off view of its continuation downstage. In the left corner, downstage, stands the four‐foot‐high stump of a slender apple tree whose upper trunk and branches lie toppled beside it, fruit still clinging to its branches. Downstage right is a small, trellised arbor, shaped like a sea shell, with a decorative bulb hanging from its forward‐curving roof. Carden chairs and a table are scattered about. A garbage pail on the ground next to the porch steps, a wire leaf‐burner near it. On the rise: It is early Sunday morning. Joe Keller is sitting in the sun reading the want ads of the Sunday paper, the other sections of which lie neatly on the ground beside him.

He carries a drink in his hand.) STEPHEN Thank you all for being here tonight – for your support – for honoring my brother’s life and legacy. (as HE speaks, the screen behind him flashes a portrait of Paul Wellstone) It would mean the world to them – Paul, and Sheila (the screen flashes a photo of Paul and Sheila together) – to see you all here tonight. (he sips his drink liberally and shakes himself out) I just want to apologize in advance – I never had my brother’s knack for public speaking. (HE chuckles nervously) But I always said… I always said my brother had a way of bringing people together… Sometimes in ways we might not expect. But – (the screen flashes a photo of a beach in Maryland) One way or another, it all leads back… to this. (without looking backward, the screen raises out of view, and the set changes to the beach seen in the photo, complete with a sunbathing SHEILA, reclining on a beach chair, reading a book) The beaches our parents took us to as kids… I haven’t set foot here in years, but I can still see it all like it was yesterday. (HE mimes to various parts of the set) The stand where they used to sell popsicles on hot days. (another) And over there, see? That’s where I built the biggest sandcastle you’d ever seen… Until Paul stepped in it.
