JACKS IN NATIONAL SPOTLIGHT HSU play a pair of nationally televised games this season, beginning with its season opener versus Carson-Newman. The national spotlight will shine again on the Green and Gold when they visit Monmouth, Ore., on Oct. 22 to face Western Oregon.

NEW FACES ON THE COACHING STAFF The Humboldt State football program will feature several new faces on the sideline this fall.

Darren Arbet (linebackers/assistant head coach/special teams), Aaron Price (offensive coordinator/quarterbacks), Cory White (offensive line), Bo Montgomery (defensive line), Taylor Mitchell (linebackers assistant/co-recruiting coordinator), Markelle Martin (corners), Austen Jacobs (tight ends/co-recruiting coordinator) and Vince Gonzales (running backs) join the Lumberjack coaching staff.

Some notable additions include Arbet, an Hall of Fame coach, Price, a longtime Division I offensive coach, and White, a former HSU offensive lineman who played with the Jacks during the 2002-03 seasons.
