18 Welcome

Welcome to New Balance Nationals Outdoor!

We are very pleased that you can be part of the 28th running of this event.

Over 60% of the members of the Olympics and World Championship U.S. teams over the past 20 years have competed at this meet. By qualifying, you have joined an exclusive club.

We want to acknowledge, as well, your parents, coaches and friends. They have played an integral role in your success. We also want to thank our outstanding medical team led by Dr. Rob Jones and Dr. Liz Wheeler. They are second to none, with a world-class team of Physicians, Physical Therapists, Athletic Trainers, Chiropractors and Masseuses. You will get no better care at any event, track and field or otherwise.

This is our 14th year at North Carolina A+T State University, and our ninth year with New Balance as our title sponsor. The meet would not be possible without the special nature of these two partners. So run fast, jump far and throw long. But, most of all, compete well. We wish you all the best in achieving your potential.
