Position the Gigaset Smart Speaker at table height to attain the best possible voice sensitivity. The device's feet do not usually leave any marks on surfaces. However, due to the multitude of different varnishes and polishes used on furniture, contact marks on the surfaces cannot be completely ruled out.

Synchronising contacts with Amazon Alexa To use a voice command to call somebody from your contact list or to send this person a message, the contacts from the directory on your smartphone must be synchronised with the Amazon Cloud. Only synchronised contacts can be called. For this, configure the following settings in the Alexa app: ¤ Open the Amazon Alexa app Log into the Amazon account with which the Gigaset Smart Speaker is also registered If the Gigaset Smart Speaker is the first device operated from your smartphone with the Alexa app, you must verify your mobile number. ¤ Tap . . .
