The Film 'Baandhon' has won the prestigious 60th National Film Award as the best Assamese Film 2012 and selected for Indian Panorama entry. The film has been highly appreciated by viewers and film critics. Baandhon was the opening film at the 43rd International film festival of India, Goa, 2012 in the Indian Panorama section.
